Yes, Iâm more than happy to give you supplier recommendations, I obviously have my favourite suppliers that I love working with and Iâm more than happy to share that with you.
⢠share everything!
Yes, I mean everything, you can never ever tell me too much.
⢠take me up on helping you set up the day before!
My favourite part of the wedding is the styling, yes, you may have all your bits and pieces, but if I help you set up, then there may be things I could bring the day of the wedding, just to give it that little extra oumfff.
⢠donât over stretch me with tasks!
Iâm absolutely more than happy to chip in with serving champagne, or clearing a few plates, but if you want me to set up a cigar bar, or move some tables at the same time, then Iâm afraid one job is going to have to give, as I can only do so much at onceâŚ
⢠trust me!
A lot of this service is about trust, as you wonât be there to see what Iâm doing all day long, but I promise, everything will get done, and Iâll always be doing bits and pieces in the background to make sure the day is perfect
⢠understand what service youâre booking!
Iâve been likened to an in person insurance policy before, and I guess thatâs what I am. If the day goes perfect, then Iâll potter about, do some tidying, do some clearing, make sure people know where theyâre going and when etc etc⌠but if things go a little topsy tervy, then thatâs when I jump in, so you donât need to find out. đ

I live in Cornwall with my boyfriend and our two cats, Nala & Nelson, but as you've probably gathered, I will travel anywhere in the world for your wedding day (and Dom may just tag along with me too, it's nice to have found someone who loves exploring just as much as me).

On one of the hottest days of the year last July we had dolphin spotting, a floral installation full of hops, chair removals, the most incredible sunset and Gemma brought me a cake pot when she delivered the cake. An unbelievably dreamy day!

Why do I wear colourful suits to your wedding? The day before and morning of you'll find me in jeans and a jumper, but when it comes to your wedding day I will be in a power suit... why? Well, most importantly, the trousers and jackets have pockets, I'm easy to spot for your guests if they need anything, I try and coordinate to the colour of your wedding (as close as I can get), I used to get mistaken for the catering team in my black trousers, and well, I'm pretty colourful, I don't think I have more than 5 pieces of black clothing, so why wear black for your wedding day? Let me introduce myself, Iâm Sophie Walker-Sunderhauf, founder and boss lady of The Little Details by Sophie. I moved to Cornwall, initially, in 2010 to study marine biology and ecology at Falmouth Marine School, when I finished there I went to Aberdeen to continue my studies at the University of Aberdeen, but who doesnât fall in love with Cornwall? Once I had graduated I moved back down to Cornwall, in 2016 with my then boyfriend, David, now husband, who is my back bone and is very much supporting me with this adventure.
Why wedding and event planning?
I have always been a huge lover of weddings (but what girl isnât?) - I have worked in hospitality since I was eighteen and weddings have always been my favourite part of the job! I organised my own wedding and got married in June 2019 and realised that helping plan and being part of the best day of someoneâs life, in the South West, one of the best places in the world (in my opinion!) is what I want to do.
In late 2019 I enrolled on the Wedding Academy launchpad course to learn the tricks of the trade from some amazing professionals and took a giant leap of faith and launched my own wedding planning business in January 2020 and thats when The Little Details by Sophie was born!
What is The Little Details by Sophie all about?
Having a background in environmental sciences I am obviously very passionate about the state of the planet, so Iâm wanting to reduce waste and our carbon footprint as much as possible. Therefore, The Little Details by Sophie is an eco-conscious wedding planning business. I offer couples the ability to have an eco friendly wedding while not compromising on style and the little personalised details that every wedding day needs.
Who are The Little Details target audience?
As a business, my target couples are people looking to get married in Cornwall or Devon, who, like myself, are passionate about the state of the planet, but donât want to compromise when it comes to their wedding. They want a day full of style, fun and personalised details all while being eco-friendly.
How will you manage to keep it stylish yet eco-friendly?
Well, I have personally selected my recommended suppliers to ensure they are as passionate as myself about the planet, but I have also ensured they are and their supplies are local to Cornwall and Devon, (I mean, we are pretty lucky to have some of the best suppliers around!) reducing the carbon footprint of the wedding itself.
