can you belive a year ago today was the show 🤯

The delusions of grandeur brought together 6 of Scotlands best magicians for one night only. The show was held at Websters Theatre and Bar and sold out to a standing ovation.

The show was independently promoted and funded with no ties to a big promoter or arts festival.

This was the biggest multi person magic show in Scotland got at least 15 years.

Thanks to everyone who was apart of the journey and never know we may even do a part 2….

We got a standing ovation…🤯🤯

Our production team got back the footage from the show and have spent today watching it back and we realised the audience gave all our acts a standing ovation at the end.

Thank you so much. All our team, acts, stage staff appreciate it more than we can express. ❤️

Today is the day, and our acts are all traveling to Websters Theatre and Bar and are excited to step on stage and bring our amazing audience the best magic show in Scotland for at least 15 years.

Doors open: 7pm
Start time: 7:30pm
Finish time: 10:30pm

If you are traveling to Websters on public transport the easiest way is to get the underground (Clock work orange as the locals call it) to Kelvinbridge station, go up the stairs and turn right. The venue will be opposite you.

If you have any questions regarding the show please post below up to 5pm and our team will respond.

Today is the day:

Our team and performers are all starting to head to Websters Theatre and Bar for todays show and we can’t wait to entertain you all.

Below is some important information that will help make your night just a wee bit more magical (not even sorry for that pun).

Doors open: 7pm
Showtime: 7:30pm
Finish time: 10:30/11pm

Venue: Our venue is Websters Theatre and Bar and is situated on Great Western Road.

By public transport: if you get the Subway (clockwork orange) to Kelvin Bridge and head up the big glass escalator the venue is on the right.

Pre show: the venue is situated on a very busy street and has many places near by for food, drinks, coffee and even a coop.

Our team will be able to answer any questions regarding the show up to 5pm.

As well as being members of our cast Steven Blair Magician and Mandy Fletcher - Entertainer are the dream team behind the show and the team at Impossible Entertainment

Steven is the director, producer and king of all things marketing (he even wrote this post.) his list of jobs for the show has been endless and many sleepless night.

Mandys unofficial job is to keep Steven in line but her real job title is director of creative for the show. This means her job is to sign off on what’s in the show and anything creative.

They really are a dream team and as you can see both enjoy working together.

One of the most interesting careers in magic is held by The Bird Man Great Aziz and he's joining our line up on 1st October.

After many adventures travelling around the world, he stepped on stage to do his first ever performance in front of 6000 people to a standing ovation!

Not satisfied with this accomplishment he enrolled into the esteemed Chavez school of magic in California, where he honed his act and applied a contemporary twist to the old traditional style of magic.

Since graduating, he went on to spend the following years traveling the world and performing his multi award winning act in over 50 countries, from the summit of Machu Picchu to the Jungles of the Amazon and Madagascar to name a few.

Since returning to Glasgow, The Great Aziz has gone on to perform regularly at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and T in the park, all while establishing himself as a local legend within the Glasgow cabaret scene.

After wondering the country for a few months he has finally come to Glasgow and The Lone Wanderer Fraser Stokes Magic - The Sensational Stokes will be bringing his character Hamish.

Fraser stokes is a British champion of magic who specialises in creating an immersive experience for his audiences.

After achieving BA hons in drama and obtaining high recognition in the industry for his astonishing sleight of hand skills winning him the Dittia Shield for Manipulation from the International brotherhood of magicians 2 years in a row, Fraser has created his own unique concoction of entertainment fusing magic and theatre.

Fraser loves to fully engage and enthrall the audience’s interest and imagination while performing as his alter ego Hamish.

Mandy Fletcher, is a third generation performer with over 20 years of performing experience.

Mandy combines her sense of recklessness, danger, surprise and shock to make you question what really is real.

Having spent her career performing all over the world including Finland, Estonia and being resident performer at the famous House of illusion in Salou for many years, the Delusions of Grandeur will be the debut performance in her hometown of Glasgow.

The Scottish Magician and our host of the evening will be Elliot Bibby.

Elliot Bibby, has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe for 7 years running, created viral videos for the BBC and won the Australian Fringe World Weekly Comedy Award. In 2018 he won the International Brotherhood of Magicians British Ring Close-Up Magician of the Year, along with the Rovi Trophy awarded for skill with cards. He’s most proud of headlining the prestigious Magic Castle in LA (in their virtual show during the pandemic.)
