As many of you will know, we’ve been struggling to keep up with quotes and invoices because it’s such a busy year. Unfortunately we had a serious fire at the farm last night, everybody is safe (humans and livestock) which is the main thing but there has been damage to some Embellishment stock and as you can imagine, the clear up will be long and time consuming. Your bookings remain booked but quotes and site checks will be significantly delayed therefore if you’d like to choose another supplier for your event, I understand completely and will refund your deposit immediately. Please accept our sincerest apologies if this inconveniences your wedding plans, we are happy to recommend alternative suppliers if you need us to. If you are unsure if this will impact your event, please pop me a message and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

**Just to add, it was a livestock shed so part of the farm, I just had bits and pieces in there. Regardless though the clean up will be huge and will be involving us all.

Well the sun shone, everyone was thirsty and we had the most amazing day at Launceston Show yesterday. It was a pleasure to be able to show off our new trailer whilst meeting so many fabulous people plus some of my beautiful couples too!

As you all know, supporting all things local is really important to us so yesterday the trailer was filled it to the brim with glorious local gins, including The Eagle House’s Eagle One Summer Gin, The Short Distilling Co Ltd London Dry and Orange Kuda, Rosemullion Distillery Summer Gin, The Wrecking Coast Distillery Clotted Cream Gin and last but not least Tarquin's Cornish Gin Rhubarb and Raspberry. To offer everyone the best possible experience we of course painstakingly taste tested each one multiple times so that they could be paired with the exact tonic and garnish to best compliment the flavours in the gin.…..we also threw in some bubbles because who doesn’t love a Prosecco in the sunshine?! 🥂

Although we stayed local this time, it’s not just gin and Prosecco, we are able to stock whatever takes your fancy and I may even bring my cocktail shaker out of retirement if you ask very nicely!

Thank you all for your support. Considering it was the first public outing for the trailer, our availability for 22/23 is already filling up so if you want to book us for your event, whether it’s public or private then please get in touch and we’ll see what we can do.

Sweet treats to accompany your main cake, a great way to offer a different choice for your guests and create a dessert table of dreams!

Fran & Sean opted for mini cakesicles magnums and three different flavoured cupcakes to accompany their main cake.
I kept everything in the colour pallet for the day and I hope you’ll agree they looked picture perfect.

Sun bleached pastel shades, with grey napkins against crisp white linen complimented the beachy vibes from the pebbles and seashells for the place settings and centrepieces. White organza sashes for the chairs kept it simple but completed the look for this beach chic wedding.

Our backdrop, LOVE ladder and easel were used as props as well as hire furniture and glassware.

It’s been an amazing journey with Emma and John, with months of planning and this weekend it all came together and wow, what a stunning wedding it was. Working closely with Emma made sure that her ideas were all incorporated but with my event planning experience, none of the finer details were overlooked. It has been a genuine pleasure working with you guys and we wish you all the love in the world for your lives together ♥️

From village hall to intimate wedding venue. It has been an absolute pleasure working alongside our beautiful couple and their families to achieve a huge transformation this weekend.

Our couple chose to have the hall fully lined and studded with twinkling fairy lights. Then our white stretch covers with pastel pink organza sashes and co ordinating table runners, as well as our rustic photo frame, easel, LOVE ladder and rose gold sequinned tablecloth. The whole room was adorned with vase after vase of the most stunningly fragrant floral displays grown by the father of the bride.

The tables were laid and the catering provided by the fantastic Oaktree Occasions, who were a pleasure to work with, their attention to detail is a thing of beauty.

My beautiful bride had a very clear vision about what she wanted for her wedding last weekend and it was an absolute pleasure watching all of the elements come together and then it being absolutely nailed on the day.

The muted grey with the vibrancy of hunter green worked so well together, especially when coupled with all of the other elements. Bringing the outside in with a dash of Viking!

This weekend we transformed a farm shop cafe into an ambient wedding venue (scroll through to see the before picture) Clifford’s at Horizon Farm Shop

Our couple went with an opulent plum satin sash with lilac flocked table runners to compliment the seasonal wisteria that we hung around the room. For the centrepieces our thick rustic log slices set with fairy light filled lanterns, adorned with foliage and coordinating flowers intertwined. To add to the ambience we strung fairy lights to lower the ceiling and finally our sparkle lit backdrop to make sure the top table was picture perfect.

Congratulations Mr and Mrs Hewison, we wish you a lifetime of love and laughter ♥️

It’s been a pleasure dressing this amazing venue for my beautiful couples today. Always special when it’s a local gem and even more so when it’s for friends. Alongside our giant LOVE letters, ladder and easel, they chose white stretch covers with golden taffeta sashes; then to adorn the tables, golden sequinned runners and simple yet effective giant lit martini glasses.

It’s really important to me to support local businesses and local events so we are delighted to have collaborated with Cornish All Blacks and Launceston Ladies Rugby Team
to support and style their 2022 Ladies Day, this year raising money for Young Lives vs Cancer in memory of Chloe Dawe.

We obviously had to go with team colours and chose, black, white and pink to dress The Lanson Suite.

Second wedding of the weekend done and this time we transformed a golf club.

My lovely bride and groom chose crisp white table linen with white spandex chair covers, teal taffeta sashes and table runners. For the centrepieces, giant martini glasses filled with fairy lights sitting on diamanté encrusted mirror plates and scatter crystals for a finishing flourish.

To really add the wow factor to the room they also hired our starlight backdrop with coordinating swag for the front of the top table.

Massive congratulations to you both, we hope you’ve had the most perfect day ♥️

We feel honoured to have dressed such a hidden gem for the wedding of Russel and Laura. A totally private, rustic haven nestled in the heart of the Devon countryside.

They chose burgundy flocked sashes to adorn the chairs, a wish tree to honour those who could not join them, a rustic barrel with log slice for their naked cake with a mismatched array of candlesticks and mixed foliage for the tables.

💖 GIANT LOG SLICES 💖

So excited to have just given our beautiful log slices a final coat of oil (food safe).

Being a natural product they are perfectly imperfect and are each unique in shape and size however all of them are 2-3 inches thick and the largest one is well over 2 foot in diameter.

As a small independent business it’s so important for me to support other local businesses so a massive thank you to the very talented Richard Chipper Clifford of Cliffords Joinery ltd, you really are amazing at what you do.

Our log slices are available to hire now individually or as part of a larger package. Perfect for a cheese board or a cake stand. They are quality hardwood pieces and very heavy therefore not suitable as serving platters unless your waiting staff happen to be weightlifters.

A weekend booked off and a balloon installation in my own home for a very special occasion….my daughter returned home from her travels 💖

Balloon installations can be as elaborate or as simple as you’d like them and we can work to whatever colour scheme you choose. We can include foil, double stuffed or even confetti balloons. We use only the highest quality balloons and can supply biodegradable balloons if you’d like.

Just to note this garland is super impressive because my trusty balloon pump overheated and died about 10 balloons into this, so these are nearly all blown by mouth (I have a new one on order so we’re covid safe 😉)

We dressed a beautiful marquee this weekend. The bride and groom opted to keep all of their decorations white, an understated yet elegant colour scheme. All of the flowers and foliage for the tables as well as the bridal bouquet and 11 bridesmaids posies were grown and put together by the very talented mother of the bride.

We’ve spent the last couple of days transforming a village hall with warm lighting and crisp white linen offset with the blue green hues of succulents and eucalyptus. We’ve incorporated their home grown flowers, foliage and succulents into the decor to ensure that the love of their garden was carried throughout their special day. It’s been an absolute delight to work with my couple and make their visions a reality. Thank you for allowing me to share these sneak peaks. We wish you both a life time of happiness together ♥️

Thank you for choosing us as your suppliers for your linen, sashes (you did a grand job with the sashes, that bow tying lesson really paid off) chairs, tables, crockery and cutlery - so glad that we were even able to source a last minute marquee for you! We can plan and deliver most things…..just not the weather!

We’ll discuss everything you could possibly want or need, then deliver it to your venue before your big event and collect it again afterwards. You will still get the same attention to detail as all of our other customers, it just allows you to use your own creative flair whilst keeping a tighter control of your budget 💖

Today marks the first of the big changes as we start to have our restrictions eased.

If you decide to go ahead with an outdoors micro wedding, it doesn’t need to be any less special than any other wedding.

We appreciate that you may not need a venue stylist for just 15 people (though we’re happy to help if you do) so we offer micro hire packages designed especially for micro weddings. Including chair covers, sashes, table runners and up to 3 simple centrepieces that can withstand our Cornish sunshine ♥️

Well, what can I say? A few pictures of what was a truly spectacular evening for The Pink Ball. All proceeds went to the MNDA, a wonderful cause.

We were delighted to provide all of the venue decor. Colemans Event Hire kept the drinks flowing and the tunes coming. Truly delicious food (amazing roast potatoes) from Something Nice Catering. Flowers from Flowers by Donna Cornish and St Mellion Flowers.

Dave and Sally have done such an amazing transformation of their own to the place, it was a pleasure to add some little touches to make Valentine’s evening extra special.
