I can’t believe it was a week ago we celebrated C&J’s wonderful day, and my last ceremony of the summer season! 💛
💛Congratulations Mr & Mrs S! Crazy that the heavens opened an hour before, and then the sun shone and dried up all the rain!
💛It was an absolute privilege to officiate and share their gorgeous story, a ceremony full of fun, laughs, love and beautiful sentiment shared with family and the special people in their lives.
💛And not forgetting the great venue hosts with a totally chilled set up, at the unique and exclusive venue

How cheesy will you be?

🍔The trusty burger - thought to be invented during the 1930s Great Depression to stave off hunger and poverty with offcuts of meat.
🍔Traditionally, burgers were made of beef and the majority still are, but rather than dubious offcuts, quality minced beef is used more often nowadays.
🍔But, as with many foodstuffs, with beef burgers it is normally a case of you get what you pay for: if you buy a pack of cheap burgers - your burger is more likely to be made of lower quality ingredients.
🍔A good quality beef burger can certainly be a meal in itself when served in a bun with perhaps bacon, cheese, salad, onions, eggs, relish, ketchup….

🌼April brings a change for weddings in England and Wales
The Government announcement states that from April 2022 civil wedding ceremoniies and civil partnerships usually conducted by a Registrar no longer need to be held under as permanent structure at a licenced wedding venue.

💛More reason to take care of the legal part first and move on to your celebrant-led ceremony providing no restrictions to the location, format and vibe of your wedding day!

💛As your celebrant I can write your personalised wedding content unlike any council official can produce and deliver.

The winter solstice is upon us, the longest night of the year, or the shortest day, which ever way you view it in a cup half full or empty sort of way.
It’s the perfect time to appreciate the fullness of life and all we have to enjoy with one another.
Celebrating the solstice is tradition, where moons ago, people would bring branches into their homes as a reminder of the return of the green and emerging new growth, and light candles during the long nights to invite the sun back into their lives.
Nowadays as we get caught up with our own winter celebrations and bring a tree into our homes, and adorn it with bright lights, whereby we can be reminded that the spring and sun are not too far away. We gather our dearest loved ones during the darkest and coldest time of the year, and celebrate our traditions and good times and look to the future and all that it will bring.

What a wonderful time to celebrate a union, and create the ‘wow’ setting for your wedding ceremony. There is something breathtaking about a winter wedding.
Imagine your ceremonial backdrop, with beautiful rustic greenery and winter foliage, festooned with lights and gorgeous candles, wooden rustic tables decorated with the colours of winter and touches of greenery, and sharing a wedding favour of roasted chestnuts and hot chocolates with marshmallows, creating the most magnificent magical stunning scene.
Sharing your vows and promises with your friends and loved ones, with maybe the inspiration of beautiful readings like The Little Yellow Leaf by Carin Berger:
