Weekly round up ✨

We had a very busy week last week, taking us all over Kent providing our games to lots of special events 🎳

1&2. We provided games for an HSBC work event that was held at and set up our Bean Bag Toss, Giant Tumble Tower, Mega Connect 4 and Quoits in their stunning walled gardens 😍

3,4&5. Our busy weekend firstly took us to the beautiful in Westerham for L&D’s special day 🥰 we set up our Giant Tumble Tower, Mega Connect 4, Bean Bag Toss & Large Skittle Alley for guests to enjoy!

6&7. Our next wedding set up was at for A&K. They had a few games set up already on the lawn and we added our Medium Skittle Alley & Blackboard Sign 🎳

8,9&10. Our final wedding of the week was at for E&D’s wedding. We provided our Large Skittle Alley, Buzz Wire, Hook-a-Duck and Mega Connect 4 to keep their guests entertained right up until the end of the night 🎯

We are well into wedding season now, and although super busy, we are absolutely loving being back at it for another Summer!

Some FAQ’s we’ve received recently…

✨ What happens if it rains?
We always aim to set up outdoors. However, if the weather is torrential, we will look to alternatives and work with your venue. We find that if it’s only raining a small amount, the games are still very much enjoyed!

✨ Do you travel to my venue?
We cover Kent & the surrounding areas (we work within a two hour radius of Margate, Kent)📍 We may consider bookings further afield but there would be a small fuel charge to cover the extra mileage.

✨ Can you hold a date for me?
We are happy to hold a date for three days, but after this we will have to release it.

✨ How long do we hire the games for?
The games are to hire for the day, and are normally collected after your drinks reception or in the evening. You may be able to hire for longer (more than one day) but this will depend on our availability and will incur an extra cost.

✨ Which games are available to choose as part of your packages?
All of our games can be chosen as part of our packages 😊

✨ What deposit is required to hold a date?
We require 50% of the total + the damages deposit to secure your date.

✨ How does your refundable deposit work?
We charge a fully-refundable deposit to cover ourselves in case of any damage/loss to the games. This is £50 to have the games for your drinks reception and £100 for drinks reception + evening. This is payable at booking and is refunded back within 1-2 days after your event if everything is fine on collection.

Hey 👋🏻 thought it’s been a while since I’ve introduced myself & since there has been lots of new followers lately (thank you!) I thought it’s time to do another!

Six facts about me…

✨ I am kept very busy by three lovely children aged 19months, 5 & 13!

✨ I studied Events Management at Uni, and actually dreamt of being a Wedding Planner. However, I just didn’t think I could deal with that pressure. It’s amazing how things work out though, as now I am still part of a couples special day, just a much smaller part 😆

✨ this is my full-time job ❤️ and I feel very lucky to do something I am obsessed with!

✨ a caramel latte is my favourite and I enjoy nothing more than a nice walk and a coffee date 💕

✨ I prefer a cosy night in to a night out

✨ I’m a vegetarian and have been for about 6.5 years now

So there, that’s me…. 🙃 (who else feels super boring when they have to think about facts about themselves?!) 😴😆

We have a BRAND NEW game, and it’s so much fun to play!

Our hook-a-duck game set-up comes with a vintage galvanised tin bath, 10 beautiful white ducks with hooks and two rods to fish them out!

This was a special one for us….🥹

We had a wonderful set-up a few weeks ago at for Sarah & Tom of our beautiful Skittle Alley and it was such a special booking for us.

Firstly, Sarah & Tom hired our Skittle Alley as their first date was at bowling and it was a great tribute to it, which I absolutely loved! To be a part of the storytelling of the couple on their special day was so wonderful 🥰

Secondly, they wouldn’t have been aware of this, but this was actually our first ever booking I took!

Back in October 2022, when I had just had my third baby and had spent the 3 or 4 previous months turning this idea into a viable business, and using some very average looking photos I had taken in the garden!! They had faith in the business and booked us.

Ever since, we have gone from strength to strength, surpassing 100 bookings last month and taking many more since 🥳

So this is just a little appreciation post to Sarah & Tom and every other couple that have booked us, it really means the world! 🫶

🚨NEW GAME ALERT🚨⚡️BUZZ WIRE⚡️

Here is the first of our brand new games and it’s a gooden!!

Our buzz wire is provided on a beautiful wooden table and creates a fun ‘buzz’ noise when the wire is touched. it’s super addictive and great fun!

We took this along to a wedding fair last weekend and it was very popular (mainly with the adults🤪)

And we’re back 🥳🥳

Wedding season officially started for us last week, and we honestly couldn’t be more excited to get back to it.

This set up at the beautiful kick-started it for us. We set up inside as although it wasn’t raining, the ground was still pretty muddy. We will always work with the venues to make sure everything is still enjoyed, no matter the weather or circumstances 😊

The down time that we had going into the winter months gave us the chance to do some repairs and upgrades on our current games, work on some new ones (coming very soon!) and catch up on some other bits as well as having some much needed family time.

However, there is nothing like being back doing what I love. Being back at the venues, getting caught up in all the excitement and preparation for the big day 🥰 nothing beats it!!

Worried about rain?!

No need to, as we have it covered 👏🏻

This set-up was from a wedding earlier in the year at - just as we was packing up the car to make our trip to the venue, the heavens opened and it was torrential rain! After quickly packing up the car and chucking a few extra games in (indoor set up in mind) we made our journey.

Once we arrived at the venue, we quickly discussed with them and came up with a plan B. Where we would normally set-up outside, instead we set up in their beautiful Heritage Barn with game suitable for indoor use. This worked out perfectly as this is where the drinks reception was held, allowing the games to still be enjoyed by the wedding guests! 🥳

So, no matter what the weather, we will always work with your venue the best that we can to make sure that the games can still be enjoyed! & if it’s only a small bit of rain, we will still set up the games and encourage them to still be played 🎯🎳
