Wednesday specials are as follows.

Pulled beef barbacoa with chipotle and lime sauce.
Hunters chicken
Falafel, houmous and chilli jam
Prawn mayo

Pasta - tuna, tomato basil & mozzarella or tomato, mascarpone & chicken.

To re-heat - chicken curry and rice, jacket potatoes with various fillings.

Cake - Biscoff, lemon drizzle and chocolate fudge.

Apologies for no specials posts last week. As you know it was half term and i sometimes struggle to fit everything in but the kids are back at school and im back to normal. So specials for tomorrow are:-

Pulled pork and homemade coleslaw
Red Leicester and homemade coleslaw
Hot and spicy chicken with sweet chilli sauce
Sweet chilli salmon

Pasta pots - Tuna, tomato basil and mozzarella and tomato & mascarpone with chicken.

To reheat - chicken curry and rice
Chilli and rice
Jacket potatoes with various fillings

Cake! - school cake.

It was a privilege to make this 30th birthday cake for a lovely young lady, although it did make me feel old as I remember her as a little girl!!
Four layers of chocolate sponge with coffee buttercream, decorated with chocolate drip, fresh cream, fruit, chocolates and macarons. Yummy!!

As it’s half term and I’ll be busy juggling mum duties (read taxi driver) and working, I’m afraid there will be no food to reheat this week. Normal service resumes next week.

I’ve had a very industrious weekend in the kitchen which has been quite nice, especially today when it’s so miserable out!! I hope you’ve all enjoyed your weekend. Specials for tomorrow are:-

Hog roast with sage and onion stuffing and apple sauce

Chicken Katsu with Asian slaw

Well it’s safe to say it’s definitely autumnal outside so from Monday I’ll be bringing back my range of foods to re-heat in your workplace. Choose from Chicken curry and rice, Chilli con carne, macaroni cheese and jacket potatoes with a variety of toppings. That will hit the spot!

Despite receiving a late request for a large lunch order tomorrow, there will be cake tomorrow. Apple and Blackberry crumble cake to be precise. This is a lovely cake and fitting for this time of year. Let me know if you’d like any saved.
