Here he is, the man of the moment… the winner of most fish at LDP - Kev worked his socks off all week, resting the swim in the day time to allow the carp to come down to his end of the lake… this certainly worked as by the end of the week he managed to land 5 carp to a massive 53lb+!💚🐋

When I received a phone call from ‘Big Phil’ to tell me he had a carp in the net, my smile was literally from ear to ear!

This was Phil’s first ever French trip, and after having a not so great draw, and having a grueler in a bay with a small amount of carp in it, he stuck to his guns, continued to learn how to use the boat despite never using one before, and when the opportunity arose to move swim he couldn’t have got round there quicker.

He went on to land this stunning dark carp known as ‘Jaffa’ the following day! Top angling my mate 💚

Well this capture certainly has a story to tell! Laura’s stuck at it this week and fished mega well over in peg 8 despite there being a smaller amount of carp over there. After an epic boat battle, and a little help from Adam (thanks mate) she managed to land this insane carp.
