Working in events has it's advantages! After a hectic week, we're having a break today. We've set up the big screen and projector and have just watched the Wimbledon Men's Final - and all ready to watch the EUROS Final this evening - whilst sharing a bottle of Prosecco given to us as a 'Thank You' from yesterday's wedding. (Thank you! 🤗). Life's good! 🥰

I know we've been absent for a couple of weeks... my laptop has died! Whilst I'm waiting for it to be repaired, I'm using a very old laptop that really isn't much good for anything other than checking my emails to make sure I keep on top of events, and answering any questions clients may have. We always try to prevent people taking drinks on to the dance floor, and make announcements telling people not to do it, but guests often do ignore this. We've seen accidents happen because of drinks on the dance floor - not just because of spillages, and don't want this to happen to anyone! - But, other than stopping the party (which wouldn't be received well!) what more are suppliers and venues supposed to do? I really don't think that the venue should be held responsible. What does anyone else think?

My heart goes out to any couples who have booked Needham House Hotel in Little Wymondley for their wedding. I've seen this happen at a number of venues up and down the country. It shouldn't be allowed to happen with short notice!

A hotel has suddenly closed to the public indefinitely due to "government business", leaving customers - including couples who had booked…

So pleased the rain held off for Louise & James at the beautiful Brook Farm Cuffley (), meaning that our battery-powered ceremony system got another outing again today (You see those ivy podiums? - we hide our microphones in those!) Just look at the flowers on that archway - absolutely gorgeous! (Supplied by Perfect Moment Florist (), as are the flowers inside the tipi supplied by Tipis4hire), and you can also see our rustic DJ booth at the back; all set up and ready to go.
