As a Southampton gal to say I’m proud to have been asked to organise a wedding fayre on such hallowed ground truly an honour!

St Mary’s stadium hospitality suites has recently undergone major refurbishment, the champagne bar will be my new favourite!

But did you know you can have your reception in The Halo suite which overlooks the pitch, it’s truly a show stopping venue with so many options. So whether you’re having a wedding with 50 guests or 500 the team Southampton FC can help make your vision come to life. Tickets are now available to reserve on Eventbrite.

Autumn 🍂 Networking Event!

You asked, we deliver - 19th November 2024 at the beautiful we will be having an informal networking lunch as at wedding fayres we only get to chat a little bit!

Held from 11:30-14:30 there will be chance to grab a freshly baked danish & coffee, hear all about HWN first year and our plans for 2025 along with any ideas you’d like to see, finished with a delicious lunch for £20 - tickets are available via our website store.

At HWN we’re all about building a community of suppliers and friends as we know how stressful & lonely it can be being self employed and we want to be able to support in anyway we can.

There are currently 35 spaces available for this event so please do act quickly to secure yours!

Thank you to all our wonderful couples who came to visit our wedding fayre at the amazing ******er , what a stunning venue in the heart of Wi******er! We love hearing all about your wedding plans and how we can help.

Thank you to all our wonderful suppliers who exhibited with us, it’s was lovely to see you all again. This was our last standard fayre of the year until our on the 10th November which we’re gearing up for behind the scenes!

2025 is going to be an amazing year for HWN with more fayres, alternative and standard at more venues and even more ideas on how we can bring affordable hidden gem venues to Hampshire couples & help them find our amazing suppliers!

Guildhall Wi******er - 13th October 2024 11-3

So excited for our first wedding fayre at the stunning ******er this Sunday. When I first viewed this venue it honestly took my breath away with its beautiful architecture, collection of artworks and just how much space there is!

If you’re getting married in Wi******er and you’re looking for a venue nearby then come along as not only does the Guildhall have plenty of options no matter what your wedding party size but we’ll have a few local hotels exhibiting to!

📣 New venue for 2025 📣

Delighted to announce that we will be partnering up with the newly refurbished and rebranded VOCO Wi******er (formally ******er) in 2025!

This hidden gem of a hotel has started the process of its refurbishment and I was lucky enough to meet with the General Manager Jon Beare during the summer to get a sneak peek - it’s going to look incredible when it’s completed!

VOCO brings a warmth and individuality to each hotel and I can’t wait to see the finished product, the weddings here are going to be beautiful with the outdoor courtyard space nestled in the South Downs National Park.

At HWN we are champions for affordable venues that are beautiful. It’s one of our fundamental core values & it resonates with all our couples that come to our fayres.

What a nice day today at The Angel Hotel meeting so many lovely couples and hearing about their wedding plans. Wendy (who we all agreed is the backbone of the venue!) said that they had 3 bookings today for weddings 🥳 which is great news!

We love hearing everyone’s wins suppliers and venues alike and seeing couples find wonderful suppliers they didn’t know were there!

We can’t wait to see everyone again soon at our next fayre on the 29th September at ******er

🎉BEST WEDDING FAYRES 🎉

Thrilled to say that Hampshire Wedding Network & HWN Alternative fayre has won the award for Best Wedding Fayres from Southern Enterprise Awards 2024, hosted by SME news!

We had a simple idea 💡wedding fayres at venues that are affordable and beautiful or is a hidden gem you’ve not heard of & help those venues get the publicity they deserve - and the public have loved it!

Our passion project to help alternative couples 🖤 find niche suppliers has frankly blown us away with how popular it’s been received & it’s not even happened yet!!! We’ve sold out of tickets 🎟️ and if you missed out then keep an eye out for 2025 alternative fayres!

As well as proving to people that affordable can be beautiful we’ve built a wonderful community of weddings suppliers who are dedicated to making your day amazing 🤩 I’m so proud of how friendly and supportive everyone is. HWN fayres are as fun for the suppliers as they are for the public!

🐻💂🏼🇬🇧Out of Office 🇬🇧💂🏼🐻

I will be away from my emails for 2 days whilst myself and my son have a night away in London. We’re both really excited as we’re going to the Natural History Museum & Science Museum.

We’ll be taking the train to Paddington and have marmalade sandwiches 🥪 all though not under our hats which was a genuine request from my son!

It’s a privilege being able to say I work in the wedding industry and help brides and couples find suppliers & I never take it for granted but I want to be fully present and make memories with my son as he’s growing up at what feels like break neck speed!

Plus I need recharge my batteries so I’m able to give my all to my businesses🔋 so I’ll be dealing with the last of the admin today.
