5 Ways to upgrade Drinks Reception
🥂🍹🍺❤️👇🏼

For me the Drinks Reception is my favourite part of the wedding; the overwhelming feeling of happiness in one space followed by an hour of mingling & catching up with friends & family, alcohol & snacks - what’s not to love ✌🏼

1️⃣ Have a cocktail hour; with cocktails that represent you both as a couple. (Espresso martinis on tap for me plz 😝) & why not go extra and have personalised drinks toppers 😉 do some amazing options!

2️⃣ Guest Entertainment; Magicians, Caricature Artists, Garden Games or simply just some lush live music. Guests love the buzz of being entertained, fed and watered all at the same time ❤️🥂

3️⃣ Stay Present; this part of the day is typically used for photographs. Group shots, Couple shots, Family shots etc. if this is something you’re not overly fussed on, be sure to speak to your photographer on limiting too many photos during the drinks reception if you’d rather mingle and catch up with friends and family ❤️ your guests will be dying to say congratulations before your whisked away for photos.

4️⃣ On trend food options; Canapés can be overpriced and really not exciting (sorry shoot me 🥴🤐), why not think about other small food’y options instead? An ice-cream bike (check out ) or small street food options, mini sliders or mini kebabs are a great shout!
When deciding upon canapé options, remember to bear in mind any guests who may be vegan, veggie, gluten free or with any other intolerances. Can’t be leaving anyone hungry 😉

5️⃣ The non-drinkers; Remember to bear in mind anyone who might not want alcohol, mocktails & none alcoholic beers are a great shout.
