Burrington Hall is pleased to say that there is now an additional defibrillator in the village to the one at Pickards.
It is placed in the outside entrance of the hall.
This has been provided by the Hall along with the Community Defibrillator Fund.
If it is used, please use the correct details within it to inform us, so that we can replace the pads.
Thank you for supporting fundraising events at the hall and using it for your own events.

Introducing our ‘Club of the Month’ in partnership with Southwestfarmer!

Each month we will be shining a light on the work of one of our 37 clubs and this month we’d like to recognise the brilliant work of Chulmleigh Young Farmers!

Although they’re a small club, Chulmleigh have kick-started the new YFC year with a bang! From a new members evening and pumpkin carving, to a Charity Tractor and Land Rover run, it’s been a busy start to the year.

To the Community of Burrington and everyone who attended the Charity boot-table top event held in the Burrington Village Hall on the 11th of November. A massive THANK YOU to you all.
YOU raised a fantastic final figure of £753.68
A very special thank you to all the kitchen volunteers who raised an amazing £213.00 all on their own. A big THANK YOU to everybody for their donations & the large private donation received after the event. A big hug & thanks to the donated cake makers. The donated Raffle prizes raised £170 a big THANK YOU to all who donated the prizes. You are all amazing people !!!

This Saturday in the hall - please come along and support!

Kevin and Stanis are organizing a tabletop sale in the hall this Saturday 10 to 2 pm to raise funds for Cancer charities - see poster below. Kevin is understandably very passionate about this and wants to give back to charities that are helping him. Please read his story below.

Please come along for a chat and support them both and these good causes. There will be bacon baps and a cuppa etc and you might even pick up a bargain. Please call Kevin if you would like a table.

Kevin is also doing a Fire and Glass Walk on 18th November -see below.

From Chulmleigh YFC:
On Sunday the 15th October at Burrington Parish Hall we will be hosting a tractor and Land Rover run in memory of Rob Pincombe.
As many will know, over the years Rob was a large part of Chulmleigh YFC and continued to be an active supporter of the club. We look forward to seeing you there and make this a great event to remember Rob.
Bacon or Sausage baps served in the hall from 9am. Please ensure you have arrived by 10:30 for 11am departure. On arrival back to hall there will be pasties and refreshments available, afternoon entertainment from Jason Toft and a raffle containing great prizes from local businesses!
