Break from Christmas on the grid to bring you some spring excitement! 2300 tulip bulbs planted today!

Tulips are a tough one for any flower farmer to grown not because they are hard to grow but because no one understands the value of a single stem! Generally if you grown tulips (not on an industrial scale) you make a loss ... to put it in perspective I have to sell every single tulip stem for £2.75 to make a 20p profit, which is used for wages. So to make a real profit each stem would need to be around £3.50!

So why grow them? They are beautiful and British outdoor naturally grown tulips frankly just hit different! And I can only hope and help with the education around the real cost of flowers by being honest and transparent!

So come spring support your local grower, buy their tulips and pay a fair price

We're looking for someone to join us!!!!!

1-2 days a week, to help over the planting season. Making beds, planting bulbs, sowing seeds etc! Role could be come more with the right person.

£13 a hour, 6 hours, 10-4

Needs to be someone Passion for growing and flowers, takes initiative, be able to drive/be dropped at work, doesn't mind the rain and happy to spend hours trapped in a poly tunnel with me and the dogs!

We are based in Bildeston/Nedging IP7

It's CHRISTMAS, well getting there and I've some exciting classes going on;

- November 19th and 26th we will be doing classes and some wine ... think Suffolk wild greenery and Suffolk wine! Please head to their bio to book.
- December 8th will be .studio_ for 2 sessions 1pm and 6pm making some wild and wonderful wreaths.
- We've space for a few more private classes where we can come to your house, minimum of 4 people per class @£70 per head. DM me to inquire about dates

On Wednesday 28th June, my fellow Suffolk members of and I will be creating an exciting and interactive floral installation in Bury St Edmunds, to celebrate

Our theme for this project is Regeneration - as a team including both growers and florists, we are passionate about using our skills to create lasting and positive change in our industry and caring for both people and planet as we do it. So not only will we be creating something sculptural and stunning as a testament to the power and beauty of Suffolk- grown flowers.
We will be asking you, the public, to join us in adding your own floral tokens and messages (with our support and guidance), and help us truly bring the installation to life!

We are also running a fantastic competition to help us promote this wonderful event, and one lucky winner (Suffolk based only
please) will get to keep a beautiful piece of mosaic art created by member Wendy Phillips of , which will form part of the installation itself, alongside a voucher for a hand-tied bouquet. For more details on how to enter, please visit Instagram or page and follow the instructions on her post.
We are incredibly excited to be working on such a fantastic and positive project, and we can not wait to bring a good dose of Suffolk flower magic to Bury St Edmunds!

Hi I'm Alarna (aka The Wild Society) and I grew these!

I've huge imposter syndrome when I comes to growing flowers, I'm so new at this every flower I grow is an achievement and I'm shocked I've grown any. Most days I'm insanely stressed and worrying about how on earth I'm going to do it all and still sleep! BUT today I harvested these tulips and I'm pretty chuffed with the results!

So trying to be more confident about my growning and putting it on the grid!

(And yes all I can see in this picture is the damaged one at the bottom)

Rita + Henry July 22 Edinburgh 💛🧡❤️

While it's -1 here! Just thinking about this heatwave wedding and ALL the joyful colours! This was such a gorgeous wedding and such an adventure for us to go up to Scotland for it!

Food being a huge part of the couples lives we put artichoke buds in as much as we could! It's all about making your flowers personal to you!

We actually did this in two trip, one to Yorkshire to make everything at my parents house and then a 4am drive to Edinburgh to deliver every (with a quick stop along the way for a paddle).

Hi I'm Alarna aka face of The Wild Society! I'm posting to say we are on our holidays now! ❤️🎄☃️
After 7.5 months of 7/6 day weeks we're off till the start of February now, with only seedlings too keep alive, no weddings and no planting ahead of us for a bit it's my moment!
It's been an amazing year and I want to thank all my amazing couples, freelance team, farming friends, every single client and my friends and family who had to convince me to stop every now and then!

While I'm 'off' I'll be sporadically on Insta and email if you do need anything!

Now it's time for a cuppa tea and all the cuddles with my animals 🐕🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛

Making headway in the plots finally!

Was sent some agro wool to try out, to be honest I don't know how I feel about it and I probably need to do some more investigation into how's sustainable it really is! From working with it today it feels pretty single use to me! The water also massively drained out so will report back on its longevity in a couple days!

Wedding season is in full swing and here's a gorgeous crown from last weeks wedding! Can't wait to get more pics back from this one it was pretty special!

Now it's off to the sofa with a coffee, then I'll move to a sun bed with a iced coffee ... then back to the sofa with a wine

Wedding season can be all consuming for a florist and it is so for me this year! Juggling the wedding of the week and what needs to be happening in the plots can feel like too much most days but then a bride or groom cries with joy, thanks you from the bottom of their heart or writes you a card (you know who you are 🥰) and it's all worth it!

We're going off grid for a bit while on a little holiday! But back at it on Friday for the next wedding, bring on the rest of the season!
