Another lovely thought.

'At birth we board the train and meet our parents , and we believe they will always travel by our side.

As time goes by, other people will board the train and they will be significant; i.e. our siblings, friends, children, and even the love of your life.

However, at some station our parents will step down from the train leaving us on this journey alone.

Others may step down over time and leave a permanent vacuum.

Some, however, will go so unnoticed that we don't realise they've vacated their seats.

The train ride will be full of joy, sorrow, fantasy, expectations, hellos, goodbyes and farewells.

Success consists of having a good relationship with all passengers requiring that we give the best of ourselves.

The mystery to everyone is we do not know at which station we ourselves will step down.

So we must live in the best way: love, forgive and offer the best of who we are.

It is important to do this because when the time comes for us to step down and leave our seat empty we could leave behind beautiful memories for those who will continue to travel on the train of life.

I wish you all a joyful journey.'

I have been so busy in my new role as Senior Partner at Vella Wozniak Talent Agency that I have not been able to perform any ceremonies.
I am loving being an agent. I have taken all I have learned from my past agents and added all of me to become the agent I would be happy to be represented by.
Going forward; other than the wedding I have already booked, I will only be conducting
I thought I would be too emotional to do these, and now I find that it is the most honourable form of expressing your love, and that is a complete privilege 💗

When I undertook my celebrant training, I expected to focus exclusively on weddings as thought, being so empathetic, that I would be impacted by the emotions of people in funerals too much.
However, a funeral director in Tadcaster found via my website that I lived in Hong Kong and asked me to conduct a Cantonese funeral.
It was full of rituals and was a beautiful ceremony, and I have gone on to conduct several more loving funerals since - albeit in English.
My style of funeral is very much a Celebration of Life as it honours the personality of the person and who they were, which helps your memory shine bright.
So, if you or anyone you know are seeking a celebrant to help you celebrate the life of a loved one, please contact me at any time.
I am based in South Lanarkshire and love to travel throughout the UK to celebrate the life of your loved ones.
As an independent celebrant, I have no limitations. This means the ceremony can be agnostic; religious; spiritual, or a complete blend: the choice is entirely yours. Gx

I have just finished watching a beautiful series about death, su***de and life.
9 Perfect Strangers on Amazon Prime is stunningly written and performed, and the glimpse into life 'beyond the veil' is sacred: I was genuinely moved.
Tuning in to our breath and sitting quietly sending deep appreciation for who our loved ones were in our life helps us feel them right by our side in the same way.
And, 'You've got to separate me from that day' is the truest gift we can give ourselves when traumatic death has touched our life 💗

This beautiful dancer with the balloon was created by cartoonist Lee Myring for my 21st birthday card over 3 decades ago.
Today, I am so moved that her symbol led beautiful people to me for a Celebration of Life ceremony and I am utterly certain that our loved ones remain with us in spirit to guide us 🎈Gx

This is the room I will be marrying a happy couple in next August.
It is going to be an exquisite ceremony full of spiritual ritual and customs to match this couple's beliefs and outlook.

I decided to take the first step to embracing my natural hair colour of grey.
The hairdresser told me it would be in stages so as not to damage my hair and that the colour would be much lighter if the colour lifted well, but I still got a shock when I looked in the mirror 😂
It will be like this for 6 weeks or so. Gx

I know life is about being happy in the moment, and I am. However, I am so excited about the last weekend of November where I am going to visit one couple's venue ahead of their wedding next year. I am also giving the groom a session of Access Bars.

I like seeing children at Celebrations of Life for family as it can help bring closure, but only you as a parent will know if it is appropriate for the.

Yet whether they attend the service or not, if they find themselves overwhelmed with emotion, ask them to turn their thoughts to appreciation of their loved one: what they loved about them; how they made them laugh; all the beautiful memories.

Invite them to say thank you (it can be silent) for having such a wonderful person in their lives and the appreciation will lighten their sadness 💗

Actually, that can go for adults too.
