I first entered my zany world of balloon art in 1999 when i enrolled and studied at Capel Manor college in North London. After studying there for 3 years & achieving all three City & Guilds qualifications in Balloon Art, I moved on to open my own small home based business with the help of the Princes Trust and my career in balloons took off! In 2002 i was employed as lead tutor at Capel Manor Col

lege and taught others to create designs with balloons too, this post led to my first industry recognised award of International Balloon Decorator of the Year in 2004 where I created an interactive scene from Macbeth entirely from latex & Foil Balloons! (I did warn you I was Zany!!)
In 2007, having many more awards now under my belt, I opened my own balloon training centre ‘The Balloon Training Academy’ which is still fully active today. Through the academy I have taught students from around the globe, UK, Spain, Nigeria, Ghana, India, Kenya, France to name a few. In 2012 I was appointed to teach a range of part time short courses for Havering Adult College teaching a range of classes including C&G Balloon Art, Candy Trees, Nappy Cakes & Prop Building and this led me to undertake my Teaching Degree which i studied in 2014 at Greenwich University. I continue to be creative in my career and now split my time 3 ways: working as the Hospitality Training Manager for the Atrium Restaurant at Hertford Regional College in Broxbourne, Teaching as lead tutor for the Balloon Training Academy and creating bespoke and creative designs in my local community for private & corporate clients for birthdays, weddings, events, fetes, anniversaries, new baby, children's birthdays and more...
