We are a group of performers who enjoy dressing up and entertaining people. An entertaining evening for between about 36 and 80 players. You provide the hall/performance room and sufficient tables for between 6 and 8 players per table. You advertise the event and sell the tickets. You provide a private dressing room for 9 people. The murder has occurred in the recent past. Our detective (equivalen
t to a master of ceremonies) introduces the evening and the suspects. The suspects move around the tables as the players interrogate them. At intervals throughout the evening the suspects are interviewed by our detective. The interviews are short but do reveal clues which may help players identify the murderer. As this is a social and theatrical event, many organisers provide refreshments at some time during the evening. When the interviews have been completed the teams are asked to record their findings on forms provided. The evening concludes in classic Agatha Christie fashion with our detective gathering the suspects together and revealing the murderer. There is always a winning team. If none of the teams unveils the murderer, then the team with the best conclusions wins. If more than one team unveils the murderer, then the team with the best conclusions wins.
