Well what a week last one was!

The highlight work-wise has to be the and seeing and meeting some of the most prestigious wedding suppliers in Kent. It was such a fun packed evening that I didn’t get to even half of the people that I wanted to see!

I will be giving you the full lowdown next week, but this week is all about rest and relaxation with my beautiful family so I’m checking out now until Monday. Have a great week everyone!

It really has taken things to a new level for industry experts to think my work is of such a high standard 🥹 The other finalists in my category are simply amazing and it’s a real privilege to be celebrating tonight with them 🧡

The richness of this 😍 these colours compliment each other so well, and they’ve retained their original colour too, albeit a little darker. This is always unpredictable as is dependent on so many factors out of our control; some that go right back to the growers, and some that are simply from the powers that be! Whether your colours stay or go, a preserved bouquet is still your bouquet 🧡

This is a perfect example of a bride understanding the assignment when looking after her bouquet for preservation, and the groom…not so 😆 these hydrangea came all the way from a glorious sunny wedding in Portugal, so I was amazed at how many of the flowers stayed in-tact! I carefully removed any that had browned and there was enough left to create this beautiful piece. If your groom’s buttonhole isn’t in such good condition then my advice is ‘who cares?!’. Use it. Don’t replicate it (unless it’s disappeared altogether, which happens!), because it doesn’t matter what it looks like; it’s the buttonhole that said ‘I will love you forever’, and you can’t get better than that 🧡

So now the shock is over, I’m here to shout about it 🙌🙌🙌
I didn’t tell anybody I was entering the awards as there has been so much going on in the run up to Christmas, so this is a double surprise! I am so so proud to be a finalist of the and so incredibly grateful to everybody that has helped to make these dreams come true!
What started as a bedroom hobby has turned into a professional, popular, busy business and I absolutely love it. I love meeting the newlyweds so much and hearing all of the wedding tales 🤍
To be recognised for my artwork is a really special moment. I pour my whole heart into every single piece I create, and it’s amazing to get the love back 🥰 A huge thank you to my fellow wedding suppliers for the recommendations, inspiration and the messages of support. It’s an amazing community and I’m so pleased to be a part of it 🤍🧡
