Something for the Calendar! Can wait for our 3rd Solfest outing!

Here it is......this year's full line-up in the Palais de Phonix at Solfest; the only stage which is open around the clock for twenty four hours of music; twenty four hours of coffee and snacks from the excellent Fell and Bean cafe ; twenty four hours of sofas to rest on and a carpeted dance floor 🎶☕️🍰🛋🪑💃🕺

This year we are especially thrilled to include in our eclectic and diverse lineup some of the best electronic music producers in the country, including Globular, Bad Tango, Alterra Project, Wolf Tech, Xylem, Tea Tree, Perpetual Loop and a very special three hour LIVE set from Hedflux- we had so many requests to get him back and we have managed to do that for his only UK gig this year 💙

We also bring you some of the best Northern djs across various genres, including Tim Toil of Beatherder; Cumbria's own favourite The Farmer of Farmyard Noises; Clumsy (Madhatters); Charlie Power; Electrik Blue; Magiclantern and many many more.

For our live music we are delighted to bring you Yoko Pwno bringing their wonderfully danceable folktronica 🎻 from Edinburgh; SPACEHOPPER who headlined in the Palais in 2022 with their live mix of uplifting trance, acid techno and up-beat dub; Arkanna - a Scottish singer-songwriter and music producer who soothes the soul with her soundscapes, at Solfest for the first time; and by popular demand we're bringing back Krin ,with their synthesis of West African drum rhythms, Afro-Cuban influences and cutting edge Techno.
As always we'll also bring you some of the best Cumbrian bands across all genres, alongside some surprises such as Jacques Malchance Piano Works who is going to play an hour of classical piano music on Sunday afternoon!

We can almost feel the grass under foot now the fields…they are calling!

🎉Continuing on our, dive into each stage and their headliners, Palais de Phonix, our 24 hour, most eclectic tent, bring you their first two headliners:🎉

🌟🎶The first is Bristol-based Globular, who has been creating and playing out his signature psychedelic bass and world-infused music since his debut release in 2010.
His sound tends to be a bubbling mass of frequencies, with the sole purpose of stimulating the ears, tickling the brain and moving the body. Dubbed-out bass lines provide the bedrock for the harmonic intricacies and grooving melodies that typify the Globular sound.

Globular will take you on a journey of your own choosing, encouraging you to create your own story and dance your own dance.🎶🌟

🌈🎵The Second is the returning Spacehopper: Spacey dubby trancey dancey bouncy psychedelic fun - after 2022's headline show. Spacehopper played in the Palais de Phonix in 2022 and we're bringing back their high energy live act for Solfests's 20th anniversary this year.

They'll be bringing their live fusion of uplifting trance with overtones of space rock, acid-tinged techno and up-beat dub back to our stage this year. Spacehopper use synthesisers and computers to produce the core sound with live driving bass and lead guitars. 🎵🌈

Next up for Embeam tomorrow night it’s Elemental at Leeds West Indian Centre - SOLD OUT not to be missed some amazing djs on this! We will have a full laser install in the techno room and our first public outing with Press Record Lives brand new cold sparks in the Psytrance room!
