Some belated congratulations due to flu! Festive anniversary congratulations to the wonderful couples that I have had the privilege to marry over the past 5 years. The coolest and most iconic setting for yesterday’s city wedding. A view of the Lagan, the H & W Cranes, the big blue fish and so much more. Huge congratulations Mr & Mrs M, wishing you a life of love, happiness and big adventures in your new home with your lovely family x
There are so many things I love about being a celebrant. One of my favourite is unleashing my creative side if a couple wish. I can include unity candles from a single candle to this family version, ribbons in the wedding colour scheme for hand fasts, elegant vow and reading folders that I personally designed. I also love using the quaich (or loving cup) which is always such fun in a ceremony. I am so lucky to have lovely gardens to forage for my decor which I will always match to the theme. What is NOT to love about my job! #dreamjob #humanistcelebrant #humanistcelebrantnorthernireland #weddingsnorthernireland
What a cold, rainy blustery day! Paying homage to @kelliescoffeeco …just the best almond latte for a frozen celebrant! Despite the brisk autumn weather @oldcourtweddingcompany looked as beautiful as ever. Congratulations Kyle and Lauren, I just know your reception is going to be a blast with all those talented musicians! Wishing you, Willow and Stella a wonderful life ❤️❤️
Presenting the brand new Mr & Mrs Graham! Rachel and Wade chose to have a fabulous small wedding @runawayirishweddings . Just loved the couple although the groom’s wobbling lip when he saw his wife to be walk up the aisle nearly had me crying too! The photos just show their love for one another and their great friendship.
I had the honour of marrying Calum and Suzy yesterday @belle_isle_estate . Just the perfect venue. Absolutely beautiful music by @ulsterquartet . Congratulations Mr and Mrs Gray.
Paul and Carmel…what can I say? A pair of truly beautiful souls whose love for one another just shone. As one of the guests told me just before the start of the ceremony, ‘You will feel the love in the room today’. She was so right, that ceremony room @rockymountaincottage was packed both with guests and so much love you could almost reach out and touch it. Paul and Carmel live your amazing life together to the full and enjoy all the adventures I am sure you will share.
@themillatballydugan looking as beautiful as ever yesterday for Sara & Jenny’s wedding. The fabulous music was @jonandrob #annpinkertoncelebrant #weddingcelebrantnorthernireland #humanistcelebrant #humanistcelebrantnorthernireland #humanistwedding #elopementireland #weddingsni

First wedding script of the season is officially underway! My 150th script and I still get that thrill as those first words are put down. I adore all the love stories couples send me and their own unique take on my couple questionnaires. Sometimes they make me laugh uproariously and sometimes cause an emotional tear or two. Every couple’s story is amazing with their own unique narrative. It’s our job as humanist celebrants to tell that story whilst captivating friends and family providing a memory which will last a lifetime. The soup? … working lunch!
