Wow…..what a weekend! It was my first time exhibiting / trading at and I hope it’s not the last!

What an amazing show…yes there was stress..6 hours setting up on my own, 2 full days of trading again on my own but with fantastic neighbours who covered my stall when I needed the loo, and then 2 hours to break down the stall and pack the car but I would do it all again 🥰!

It’s back to school tomorrow (for my other job) so I’ve unpacked and put everything away and also updated the website with inventory for the kits!

Thank you for all the amazing comments, purchased and interests in workshops..you have been amazing! If you saw something this weekend that you now want, please message me if it’s not on my website and I’ll be happy to help.

I love teaching how to make poppies! I’ve delivered this workshop to 3 units this year and bookings are now coming in for spring and Mother’s Day. If you would like to know more for your community group, school or staff give me a shout!

Units across Rossendale have been taking part in acts of Remembrance over the last week. They’ve been painting, crafting and doing poppy workshops with The Alternative Florist as well as taking part in Remembrance Parades over the weekend.

Christmas will soon be upon us and I’ll be at my first Christmas event next weekend . Limited tickets available now so if you’re planning on attending get on it now before they sell out!

I’m preparing these ever popular reindeer decorations which can be personalised for whoever you want…children, grandchildren, fur babies, teachers!!

All available on my website, if you collect in person or arrange to collect at Craft in the Pen next week you will also get one of the chocolates (but will they make it home! 🤣) I will have my cricut with me next week so you can order and take away over the weekend!

It’s almost November which means it’s Poppy time! I have a few private workshops booked in over the next few weeks to make these poppies but I also have and ready made poppies for sale on my website. A fortnight ago Jennifer and Frazier said I do!!

In Jennifer’s bouquet she had a mix of faux feathers, deep red roses, black dahlias, tan sunflowers, white daisies, grapefruit pink peonies and purple thistles! Along with a mix of greenery and it looked stunning 💐

Felt flowers are ideal if your having to travel to your venue, they won’t wilt or die!

So today is the day I’ve been working on for a while now….my first workshop at happyplaceofficial in Tatton Park and it’s SOLD OUT 🥰 ….11 years and 1 day since I got married in the Lake District too. It’s where my felt floristry journey began!

We had tipis in the garden of a pub before that came a ‘thing’ and partied all night…it rained a little but that’s meant to be good luck! I feel at home here with tipis around me..it’s bringing back amazing memories.

what an amazing day yesterday, lots of interesting and lovely people and after a quick wander around the stalls this morning the room is full of amazingly talented people! It’s getting to that time of the year…end of term and teacher 🧑‍🏫 gifts 🎁

I’ve brought back my flower paperclip cards this year with 2 different designs… “teachers help children to bloom!” Or “thank you for helping me grow”

Each card contains 2 flower paperclips 🖇️ so they serve as a card and a gift in one for £6! The 🌸 paperclips can be used over and over again after the card has been recycled.

Flower colours will be sent out randomly but if you have specific requests please send me a message.
