It’s getting to that time of the year…end of term and teacher 🧑🏫 gifts 🎁
I’ve brought back my flower paperclip cards this year with 2 different designs… “teachers help children to bloom!” Or “thank you for helping me grow”
Each card contains 2 flower paperclips 🖇️ so they serve as a card and a gift in one for £6! The 🌸 paperclips can be used over and over again after the card has been recycled.

People of Rossendale, we need your help!
I'm working in partnership with Civic Pride Rossendale to create a community display for the upcoming Britiain in Bloom competition later in July. I'm sure you have seen all the hard work currently going on at the moment and with this years theme including friendship and felt I couldn't not be involved.
So after contacting the group and meeting up with the wonderful creative team, I have offered my services to deliver a FREE workshop at Rawtenstall Market on Saturday 6th July from 1-4pm.
At this workshop you will be learning how to make sunflowers, poppies, roses and a styled flower which will then be attached to a garland and used to decorate a community bench as part of the judging for Britiain in Bloom 2024.
If you would like to get crafty, help the Civic Pride Team and Rawtenstall gain another Gold award..please pop down to the market to see us. No need to book!
Last night I had the pleasure of teaching Brownies in Whalley how to make large sunflower 🌻 magnets! They did a great job cutting and sticking. Lots of concentration and a few tongues 😋 out too !!

What a fabulous morning creating felt succulents at our workshop. Such a wonderful room (although we needed the fire 🔥 on - what’s that all about in June 🫣) which you can hire for functions and Annie makes wonderful food too!
Feedback from today included the words calm, relaxed, proud and happy. I can’t ask for any more than that.

I am absolutely pooped! The house is a tip, boxes everywhere but they are going to have to wait until tomorrow now as I’m not moving from the sofa!
A massive thank you to my friends Hannah and Kellie ( The Metal Nib) who have helped throughout the weekend with my stall. My husband who has been a fabulous support in the weeks leading up to the festival as well as putting in a shift at the stall to allow me to run the workshops yesterday. My Auntie (Cotton Pod) and Uncle for having our boys over night too!
Another thank you needs to go out to all of my friends and fellow businesses that came specifically to say hello - Janet Cowden, Joanne Lazarus from Joanne Lazarus Celebrant if you’re getting married! It’s finally time!
Today, as well as being my birthday 🎈 was the first day in a new adventure with my business!
Lots of late nights, sweat, stress and effort has gone into preparing for this event…my biggest yet.
Today was set up day for my 🌷floral installation at Manchester Flower Festival 2024 - this year the theme is icons…so I picked Frida Kahlo.
If you’re close to Manchester and fancy dodging a few rain drops this weekend I will be there with my market stall (near Marks and Spencer’s opposite the whiskey shop) 💐it would be great to see you!

I want to say a massive congratulations to Natalie and Lawrence who got married this evening at !
When the couple got in touch to discuss their wedding and they said the words COLOURFUL 🌈 I knew I would really enjoy the journey of making their flowers which included the bouquet of course plus headdresses for the flower girls, bridesmaids bouquets, button holes and not forgetting a collar for Rita their labrador 🐕!
I hope the weather behaved for you however they do say rain on your wedding day is good luck!

Today I stepped away from my desk for something different. I’ve had a fabulous day with at 🌻 Joining forces with fellow wedding professionals to create a beautiful setting. The rain did not stop us!

Now it’s time to sit and do nothing after a very late night to add finishing touches to my arrangements last night.
A little while ago I mentioned that I was going to be at the Manchester Flower Festival in May.
I can now tell you that I have been working hard behind the scenes to finalise the workshops I’ll be running on Sunday 26th May as part of the festival and that I will be based in the amazing bakery GAIL's Bakery!!

Today I was creative in a different way, joined by my boys, Sharon from and her daughter. We all painted a pot of our liking at in Bury. It was a very calming and quiet experience…the boys did some heavy concentrating! I highly recommend the experience…like my workshops it is great way to forget the world and do something for yourself.
We are excited to see what the final pots will look like after being fired.

Things always slow down over school holidays and I get frustrated that I can’t do jobs but it’s nice to spend some quality time with the family.
Today is a catch up day whilst the house is empty…so the first thing I want to tell you is that I have 2 workshops running in April. Both are in Rossendale and a great way to relax from the stress of life.

Wow what a weekend, I decided that this weekend was for family! So on Saturday we headed over to Manchester for the day to have a family meal at Hard Rock Cafe for my son’s birthday and then on to watch Cirque du Soleil for their OVO show. 🐛 🐜 🐞 Both were amazing!
Sunday we had an Easter egg hunt in the garden with family and a lovely walk around our local area.
Monday we headed out early in the rain to Oulton Park to watch the car racing - something my boys have recently got into. A very wet day however, the sun did come out to play to finish our day which was very much welcomed.
Tomorrow I plan to wash muddy boots and waterproofs 🙈😂 and catch up on all of my messages!!

Happy Sunday! Another day at Brockholes today. The weather is being much kinder and we have different stalls too, it’s been a busy night re stocking my stall so come down for a walk to blow away those cobwebs and take a look around the Christmas Market.
Thank you to all that came to see me and my makes today Brockholes. The weather wasn’t very kind but it was a lovely warm atmosphere inside! Lovely business, many of which are back with me tomorrow. I’m re stocking a few products that are running low ready for another day. So pop down, take a nosey and have a good wonder around outside too as the weather is meant to be kinder to us ⛅️ 🤞🏻
