is looming and I have been busy behind the scenes ahead to what will be another incredible year. I will be off to the gorgeous Normandy soon and the
Part of my work is to engage with brands to design and style the perfect wedding. I use a number of visual tools to assist me and most of the time, areas of my house. I recently got contacted by and for their new range and they kindly gifted me with 2 glass to incorporate in everyday styling. I did use them in different ways and I was inspired to create a corner in my dining area. With all weddings it is important that no matter the style, they should reflect and feel like you, an event created with you in mind for you to love being invited to.
Very excited to join the at their next workshop on the 28th April. It will be a great day for anybody joining. I will be presenting some tablescape ideas as well as flat lays compositions which I love. When discussing the plans for the we definitely had other ideas. The weather unfortunately didn’t, and we had to opt for an indoor event. What the Chateau offers is incredible and I had the idea of recreating an imperial table across the majestic, yet homely hall. It meant that a lot of the furniture and decor had to be moved around, but can you spot the unusual decor objects in this ? I love using my impromptu decisions to incorporate what is available on the day. And on this occasion it happened to be some gorgeous from the that were in the same accents of blue used for the

Does it happen to any of you to get emotional at the end of every wedding? I do! And sometimes I can’t hold back the tears. Part of me because I will miss the people, the families, the connection created for many months before the wedding day. Part of me because sees it all happening. Is no longer an idea that you are trying to make visualise, it has materialised.
All the swatches, the colour prop and the designs are finally coming together.
Particularly when planning a more often than not at a venue that we have never been before, we utilise all these little tools that enable us to perform our passion. At times the process can be as long as 2 years, other times maybe only a few months. And this post of is for all the that I have encountered and worked with over the past 23 years. Without you and your professionalism, what we do as wouldn’t be possible. So thank you 😊 for all the work so far and more to come.

I think for us planner must be one of the most important things to remind us of the passion and commitment we have four our couples, the importance to make every a successful, and for me personally, a stress free one. On the day we might be too busy running around with an helicopter view to ensure the planning has come to reality. It’s time for goodbyes, for now.
It seemed yesterday I arrived once again in beautiful Normandy and it’s already time to go. The season couldn’t have started in a better way. The weather was glorious, the couples and their families, where do I start?

Touched back down on home turf, still with my head in the clouds, having been part of an intimate, soul-warming wedding in the magical shadow of the Chateau de Courtomer in Normandy. .
Merci beaucoup to Liz & Matt, our fantastic American lovebirds, who believed in me enough to transport this Brit across the channel for their ethereal "I do.".
The tight-knit gathering of family was so warm, so close, it felt like I was part of their inner circle. We spent a few days together and I honestly feel like we could catch up in the future like old mates. And guys, I'm pinching myself even as I write this: your humble photographer has just been named a preferred wedding supplier for the grand old Chateau de Courtomer itself! I think a celebratory pint or two might be in order..
To the magnificent wedding team who worked their magic behind the scenes, and especially to , the planner extraordinaire, you guys outdid yourselves. Here's to many more memorable celebrations together!.
