Made the annual cake for the child, good old 4am baking after a private function.

She asked for a "safari" theme complete with a highland cow, hedgehog and an otter. I think we need to have conversations about animals and their natural habitats...

Strawberry sponge, jam filled, white chocolate mousse buttercream, zero effort of fondant animals/decoration but there is a blueberry jelly otter pool with edible rocks made by .woodthings

They ate:

-Autumn Vegetable Spring Roll, Plum Sauce
-Smoked Garlic Butter Hake Kiev, Kale, Leek Puree, Lemon Thyme Velouté, Chervil Oil

Finally with some sun shining on us for more than a day or two, salad collections are becoming popular at The Open Kitchen HQ!

- Smoked Brie Gougères
-Crayfish + Crab Salad On Toasted Rye

- Seeded + White Sourdough, Whipped Raw Butter With Miso

-Black Garlic Roasted Sirloin, Honey Roasted Roots, Winter Greens, Mustard Mash, Crisp Onion + Beef Jus
-Pan Fried Cod, Winter Greens, Lemon Mash, Scallop Roe Velouté + Seaweed Tuille

- Delice, Salted Caramel, Espresso Ice Cream + Crisp Toffee
