Happy  The celebrant industry has always been well populated by women. Delighted that so many more women are getting into comedy too. I've seen numbers of women in my courses double in the last ten years. And now, it's generally 50/50 Hooray. There's nothing better than sharing in a couples special day. Sometimes such a big day can bring about tension and frayed nerves. It's my job to help everyone relax and have a few laughs. This was such a fun day at Folkington manor and such a beautiful couple.

I was on BBC radio talking about my new book. We also discussed confidence, public speaking and being a stand-up comedian. I love being able to bring humour into my ceremonies and I really feel the benefit of 20 years of doing stand-up to have a cool, calm head under pressure and occasionally deal with the odd heckler ha ha.

Thought about getting married in your own living room? Not in my small flat, that's for sure ha ha, but those who can might be surprised how a beautiful wedding can be set with a simple elegance that lends itself not just for fantastic photos, but for the actual atmosphere of the day. And you have the added benefit of being able to fall into your sofa after!

Some photo's make you smile, some make you laugh out loud. This wonderful couple Analise and Ben wanted a ceremony that was romantic, heartfelt, but most of all fun. As I found out more about their stories it became blindingly clear just how suited they were for each other. Their friends and family were pretty amazing too, as I found out into the wee early hours as I hosted the reception. The breakdancing competition was interesting! I didn't win ha ha.

An absolute pleasure to help both The Father of the Bride and The Best Man to create touching, heart felt, speeches that had everyone laughing and reaching for their hankies.
