Heyyyy I’m sorry I’m so behind lately on my admin and social media 🙈 sorry if your quotes or invoices are a little delayed, I’ve been snowed under with work and kiddies during these summer holidays. How long till schools go back again??? 🤣🤣 Ahhh anyways lol, here’s a wee pic of some recent wedding work, I’ll post more pics soon when I can get some free time to catch up. Not to mention all the prep, market trips, designing, planning, making, delivering, packaging,etc etc.
What a week! It’s been hard work. There’s been tears, but I’m so proud of myself.
I do want to say a massive thanks to my family who support me every step of the way! Being a woman running a business as a sole trader is such hard work. I couldn’t do it without my support network behind me - my hubby refusing to let me give up when I could easily throw in the towel, my dad coming to the rescue with supplies and support, but especially my mum who gets dragged everywhere with me to help and never ever complains, and in fact just says it great as she gets to spend extra time with me 🥲 I love that woman sooooo much!!!!
Pics to follow but for now, my feet are up and I’m taking the day off!!!!!

Hello everyone and sorry Ive been a bit MIA of late. I’ve had kids illness and a wee short break away. I’ve also had the wedding show at Braehead which was a MASSIVE succes 🙌.
Wedding season is booming and I am run off my feet at the wee TLB studio keeping on top of enquiries, bookings, quotes, wedding prep etc. it’s been AMAZING. So thank you to everyone, this business is blooming woop woop!
Ps this pic was my last hat box for a lovely customer - a school mum friend ☺️ lots of lovely peaches n creams and some gorgeous on trend pampas and palm spears added. What a beauty to finish on eh!!
Now to concentrate on those weddings - I’ve a big one I’m working on over the next few weeks so watch out for all the pics…

My wonderful customers past & present…
I’m sorry to say that after careful consideration I absolutely must move towards being an events only business.
I tried this last year but I missed making the day to day flowers so much that I gave in & reverted back. However, I monitored the costings of this over the course of the rest of the year and unfortunately I have been running at a complete loss therefore I cannot sustain this part of my business. The cost of wholesale flowers, alongside everything else ie sundries, fuel, etc has risen dramatically as you will probably already be aware, and this means I can no longer continue to offer this service.
I’m so sorry this hasn’t worked out but I do look forward to growing the other part of my business which will be events, weddings and funeral arrangements.
So last but not least, I want to sincerely thank each and every one of my amazing customers over the past few years! You helped a local little business grow and bloom and made me feel happy and successful in my venture.
On to chapters new, and if you need an events florist then you know who to call!!

A little tip - hydrangeas (circled) drink through their petals. If you have a spray bottle, spraying the petals with water will help them last longer and stop them from wilting 😘💐💕

My car smelled amazing today 🤣 that’s all deliveries complete! If you received a handtie - please place in a vase of water straight away. If you received an arrangement in foam, just add a little water to it each day! Enjoy your beautiful flowers and keep them out of direct heat and sunlight. Happy Mothers Day ☺️💖💐💖
