Happy Memories Entertainment Afternoons...
What a brilliant idea...😊
This was introduced to Liverpool a few years ago by my great friend Peter Bowyer aka Twinkletoes and myself Ted Williams aka Jive Teddy...
The idea is to give people of a certain age something to fill their lives with of an afternoon as opposed to sitting at home watching daytime TV...
I say people of a certain age but it is open to all...
The majority of our audience are 60 plus but we do get lots of people who are much younger ...they are generally bringing their loved ones out for a special treat..
The idea has even reached some of my dancers at Jive Teddy... the afternoons are such fun and there is always an opportunity to spend some time on the dancefloor..
Peter and I are very much partners in this venture...we each have our own roles to play but we also have a wonderful team around us who help us tremendously ...our regulars at the moment are Julie... Barry...Lesley....Lily...Rita...Richard but others are always there to be called upon if needed...
Peter and I are so blessed with lovely friends...
At present we have 7 venues we use for our monthly events...St Cyrils.. Belle Vale...The Woodlands...West Derby Village...Woolton Village Club...Woolton. ..The Provincial Club...Everton...St Cecilia's...Tuebrook. ..MCA Club...Maghull and Mount Carmel...Dingle....
The afternoons run from 1.30 till 5...doors open at 12 noon...
We have tea/coffee on arrival....
Little Ted then gets the audience in the mood for some fun and laughter with 30 mins of welcoming songs.. we are truly blessed with Michael Moon the legend also playing and singing all of our favourite numbers...
we have bingo...raffles...a light lunch...then at 3 o'clock we have our star turn for the day on...we have over 40 quality artists that we can call upon who know exactly what our audience want....very much a good time...
Pete and I think of it as the old Saturday/Sunday night brought to the afternoon. ..
On the back of our popularity we have now created a few days away...a little holiday...staying at beautiful hotels in Lytham and Llandudno both delightful seaside towns which are loved by all...
Please give us a try....bring your Mum..Dad...Aunty...Uncle...Friend...Neighbour. ....it's so much better than visiting them at home...
The Happy Memories you will be creating will last a long long time....

Hi everyone, with there being two bank holidays in May we have just 4 Venus this month, but next month we’re back with our full complement of shows, so we look forward to seeing you all soon.

In March we held our first ever Happy Memories holiday , we took 120 guests to Lytham St Annes and it was a total success. Lots of new friendships were made and ofcourse lots of Happy Memories!!

We had so much fun that we’re off to Llandudno, staying at The Kensington Hotel for 3 nights - 29th, 30th & 31st October 2024.

The rooms are really limited in this hotel so if you are interested in joining us , please don’t delay !
