🏃‍♀️🏃🏼 Globe trot - this Saturday 2nd April

The Globe Trot is taking place this Saturday 2nd April, the race will start on Mill Lane next to the Globe pub and finish in Centenary field.

Parents and children are all welcome to come along and cheer on the runners at the start and finish or along the route; you can do this at Frampton End Lane from Hoovers Lane to Iron Acton and Mayshill.

Timings:
Registration open to runners: from 9am
Safety briefing and warm up: 10am
Race starts: 10.30am
Presentations: after the race from 12.30/1ish

🍔☕️ 🍻The coffee & burger van will open from 8am in the Globe car park and the bar outside will be open after the race.

At 3pm today we shall fall silent for HRH Prince Phillip, the Duke of Edinburgh. We will be observing the national minute’s silence to commemorate his remarkable life. If you are with us at this time we invite you to pause and join in with us.

Thanks to Boris for confirming that we can reopen our outside area from Monday the 12th of April.

Its been a long time, and we hope you are all safe and well?

We would like to thank everyone that has supported us through the challenges we have all received. Whether its been by ordering a takeaway, ordering beers for delivery, or just with your kind words. It really has kept us going!!

We will start by opening 12noon until 8.30pm every day.
We will not be serving food, but Burgers Chips ‘N’ Dips will keep us munching.

Inside will only be open for use of toilets.

The government have set out rules for us to follow, they are:--

Tables of 6 available only.
All over 16's MUST register with Track & Trace (not complying will lead to refusal of service)
YOU MUST BE SEATED to order a drink.
YOU MUST REMAIN SEATED to drink the drink
It is table service only.
You must wear a facemask when using the toilets.
There will be certain areas that are using a one way system only.

Please remember that these are GOVERNMENT RULES not ours.

WE WILL NOT BE TAKING ANY BOOKINGS FOR TABLES.

Tables will be set out, and they cannot be moved.

Please be respectful of all our customers and staff!!
