Wow what a fabulous 3 days of the Makers Market for the Wintertide Festival that was. Feeling very humbled, full of love and a little bit emotional at how much of a gorgeous time I’ve had. Every single trader that has been involed in the market has been not only so so talented but truly lovely. It really felt like a community.

Thank you to the powerhouse team that is the Wintertide organisers yous have once again smashed it out of the park and so pleased you asked me to be involved for another year.

Thank you to the wonderful public for coming along and supporting the market I hope you enjoy your fabulous goodies purchased and enjoyed yourselves.

Thank you to the events staff and the volunteers who made the festival happen you have done an awesome job.

The Wintertide is such a special event and we are so lucky to have it in Hartlepool.

Big love to you all. I’m exhausted but so so so happy. 💕✨

SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES!!

Havoc is being wreaked on our local independent businesses. Covid-19, lockdowns, shutdowns and budget cuts, coupled with the rise in energy costs and 24×7 internet shopping, small businesses are in a challenging economic situation.

You don’t have to spend very much to make a difference to a local business.

On average for every £1 spent locally, about 63p stays within the local economy.

Spend local, wherever your local is. That could be local to where you live, where you work, or local to where you are staying on your holiday.

If you can't spend local then you can support your local businesses by giving them a shout out & tagging them in posts & stories on social media. Your comments on their posts really help businesses reach more people, and let’s face it, no-one likes talking to themselves, so your reply makes posting on social media more, well, social.

We have some amazing local independent businesses in Hartlepool and right now they need our support more than ever, we know times are hard for everyone at the moment but even a little spend can make a massive difference.

Feel free to tag any local independent businesses in the comments, so others can help support them too, businesses feel free to add a photo of your products so others can see what you do!!

Make sure you look in the comments as you never know, you may find that Christmas present you needed!
