After planning weddings and events for the past 11 years, my expert advice I share with my couples planning their wedding is to work with your photographer to schedule your sunset photos.

During your consultation with them, you can let them know that you would like sunset couple portraits and they can keep this in mind during the wedding day. They will have found a space at your venue where the photos will look stunning at this time of day and will guide you there ready for those romantic moments ✨

As your wedding planner it is also our job to ensure you are at the right place at the right time - so there is no need to watch the clock for sunset, that's out job!

Round vs. Trestle Tables - Which is Best?

Struggling to decide between round or trestle tables for your wedding reception? Your choice of table style and shape will impact everything from the flow of your space to the vibe of your celebration!

So here’s a quick guide to help you choose:

Round Tables create a cozy, intimate atmosphere that encourages conversation but may take up more space in your venue.

Trestle Tables are ideal for sharing platters and a banquet-style feel. This table layout will also maximize the available space.

Top Tip: Consider the size of your venue and ask what table layouts work best in the room. If you want certain table floral arrangements then consider which tables they will work best with. Smaller bud vases work better with trestle tables and larger floral designs create a beautiful statement look on round tables.
