This week I’ve taken two new bookings for one of my very favourite venues and it made me realise that I’ve not shared this gorgeous wedding from last September. I can’t believe they’ve celebrated their 1st anniversary already and this gorgeousness has been hiding away for all that time. So much to love about this beautiful day and I can’t wait to be back in a few weeks time and throughout 2023

My mini sessions are a really affordable way to update your family photos - they consist of a short 20 min session and the price includes your favourite 3 images as digital files for you to print and use as you wish.

Today I’ve woken up with a spring in my step and feeling, dare I say it, positive about the year ahead. ⁠

Yesterday’s announcement was the news the wedding industry has been needing for a long time⁠
⁠
I know it’s not the news everyone wanted to hear and it will have brought joy and heartbreak in equal measure.⁠
⁠
I’m massively thankful that we now have a roadmap in place with dates to work towards but I’m also absolutely gutted for my couples who will need to postpone their weddings yet again. If any of you need to talk through your plans, need help with anything or just a supportive ear, I’m right here. ⁠

There’s literally nothing I’m more excited about than getting back to photographing weddings. I’ve missed those big squeezy wedding hugs and sweaty dance floors like you would not believe! ⁠

As we're all aware, the country will be going into lockdown in a couple of days. I'm so sad that again, couples will have to postphone their weddings and make new plans.

I'll also be unable to go ahead with my Christmas Farm portrait sessions at the end of November.

As always when there's a new announcement, it takes a bit of time to figure out how to navigate this. I've contacted everyone who's booked in with me over the next month and I'm working hard to get you all rescheduled before Christmas

Whilst I know and understand that this lockdown is 100% needed (don't we all want this under control so we can spend Christmas with our loved ones?) it doesn't stop it being hard

As always, check in on your self employed friends - they might not be showing it but this is really, really tough on small businesses and they will be struggling even if they're not showing it.

Stay safe as we ride this second wave together 😘
