After working in the events industry for over 13 years. Along with 2 years of college level training followed by 3 years in university, my industry and job is no longer viable.

Tonight I will be lighting our house red along with many other professionals to show we stand together and that this is not good enough from our government.

A Little About Us

We are a DJ, Production company from the North West of England who also supply Dancefloors, Lighting and PA systems.

I started DJ Jay Entertainment over 13 years ago in the summer of 2006 working with local Morris dancing troops and a number of local venues. In 2007 we started running a monthly 60’s & 70’s night in wigan, from this we took a Friday night residency in The George and dragon pub Leigh, Popular with the over 50’s. In 2008 we took our first big hotel contract with The Greyhound Hotel (where we are still to this day)

Currently we supply many local venues, the most prestigious being The Midland Hotel, Manchester where we have been providing our DJ services for almost 5 years. Other Venues we frequently supply include The Macdonnald Manchester, The Victoria & Albert Manchester & Leigh Cricket Club.

Although DJ Jay Entertainment was started by myself Jayson, we have a number of DJ’s. So here are some names of key member of our team:

Matt K with over 20 Years Experience, Matt started out in the clubs but is one of our strongest wedding and corporate DJ’.

Glyn one of our elders behind the decks, Glyn started out on the turntables in the early 70’s and is well known around the Leigh area.

Ryan is one of our karaoke DJ’s, Ryan is perfect for the more relaxed events and is great with a crowd.

Dave K, While dave runs his own DJing company he often works on behalf of us. With over 50 years in the trade (before disco lights where a thing) Dave is an old school DJ. Dave can often be found standing on a chair singing along with his crowds and is loved my many.

Dylan is one of our youngest DJ’s at only 19 years old but has been working with us for around 3 years now, over the last 2 years Dylan has got himself out their and now covers a lot of our college and university events.

Along with DJ’s we offer many services. I am a qualified Sound and Lighting technician, this allows us to offer PA & Lighting hire and Event production. We have a large stock of equipment ready for hire including Dancefloors.
