Whether you need support right from the beginning of your wedding planning process, or have started planning and become overwhelmed, I’m here to hold your hand and guide you through it.

Inspired by my own big sister, who does most things first, then passes on her hard-won wisdom, I’m here to be a Big Sister to you and your partner, ensuring everything goes smoothly for you on your special day. You’ll both be able to relax and be completely present for your celebrations, knowing that there’s someone you trust looking after all of the details for you.

Who has spent their weekend wedding planning? For those of you who’ve had a merry old time finding suppliers, gathering inspiration for your mood boards and finalising your plans - congratulations, you’re smashing it! Enjoy your planning and have a gorgeous wedding.

If you’re anything like most of my couples though, you’ll be unsure where to start with planning, struggling to work out how all of the parts of your day fit together and generally a bit overwhelmed. Don’t panic! This is where a wedding planner or coordinator can step in and support you.

You might have already thought about working with a wedding planner and come to the conclusion that this is just another strain on your budget. I promise, wedding planners aren’t just for super rich people with mountains of cash to throw at their wedding. You might only need a little steer in the right direction, or coordination support on your wedding day - there are lots of different ways that I can support your planning journey.

If you’re planning a 2024 wedding and your stress levels aren’t through the roof yet, you are super human and you don’t need to read the rest of this post. Go and smash the wedding of your dreams! If however, you are like most 2024 couples that I meet, and you’re currently in possession of a list of wedding day scenarios, unanswered questions and ‘what ifs’ as long as your arm, then perhaps you would benefit from some help from me, Sophie, your wedding day Big Sister!

I’ve worked in events for years. To tell you the truth, I love being a problem solver! Those things nobody ever thinks about until they happen, then all hell breaks loose… well I’m the kind of person who makes backup plans for backup plans to ensure those things don’t get to happen! (Ok, disclaimer and reality check – the unpredictable can still happen. But I’m armed with enough experience and know how to make sure the big day still runs smoothly!). You might have seen what I do being floated around under the title of ‘Wedding Co-ordinator’ or ‘Wedding Planner’. I prefer the term Big Sister, because that’s what I feel like when I help my couples. I feel like family. I want your day to be perfect!

You might have already concluded that a Planner/Co-ordinator is just another expense on an already stretched budget. Or you might not have even considered that an extra pair of hands might be just what you need to ensure the day of your dreams runs as smoothly as possible.
