First week of our shoot season done, only 21 more weeks to go! Tommy finished his first week at nursery too and is loving it! Settled in so well, we cannot thank the team Daisy Day Care enough! Legends!

It’s our FINAL market day of the year TOMORROW ! Unfortunately we will be unable to attend anymore markets in 2024 due to prior commitments so for your LAST chance to sample some of ’s goodies, pop on down to see us!

The usual suspects will be available including Scotch Eggs, Parfait, Sausage Rolls, Bread, Desserts, Quiches, Deli Pots and more.

If you would like to preorder any goodies for collection tomorrow, please let us know no later than this evening and we will save them for you to collect by 12 at the latest. We try and ensure plenty is made for you all but due to the early birds, we cannot guarantee to have everything later on.

Who’s excited? It is our FINAL Pop Up of the season this evening! We were hoping to do a final one in August unfortunately our diary is chocka so won’t be able to fit one in!

Thank you for those that have booked in this evening, we are fully booked but for those that are coming, we have the following goodies to look forward to (all made by of course):

Super excited to be back today from 1030-130! Lots on today’s menu all freshly made by including Sausage Rolls, Scotch Eggs, Pork Pies, Cornish Pasties, Chicken Liver Parfait, Deli Pots, Breads, Quiches, Desserts and more! Perfect for picnics and lunches throughout the week ahead.

Guess what?? Tommy is officially 9 months old today AND it’s tomorrow!!!

Pop on down from 1030 to grab a last minute Father’s Day prezzie - tonnes of stores to choose from!

On the menu this week has the usual favourites including Lemon Meringue Pies, Scotch Eggs, Quiches, Sausage Rolls, Pork Pies, Parfait, Deli Pots etc. New additions for tomorrow include a Wensleydale and Roasted Red Pepper Quiche, Yorkshire Asparagus, Cheddar and Serrano Ham Turnover, Burnt Basque Cheesecake with Strawberries and a Chocolate Heaven Pot! Lots to tickle your tastebuds so get yourselves down there for Tommy cuddles and some grub!

We had the pleasure of catering for a large wedding at the beginning of June - a wedding for over 300 then a 40th birthday the following day for 250.

Thank you to our amazing team of helpers for everything - they were all superstars!

Guess what? Spanish Tapas Night is fast approaching so get in touch to book one of the last remaining slots. All dishes will be freshly prepared by our very own of course. It takes place on Friday 21st June from 6pm (bar open from 530pm).

The GOOD news is that we are BACK on Sunday! Tommy is excited to announce the launch of events and dates for the diary!

We are BACK on the third Sunday of every month where will be offering homemade goodies from breads to sausage rolls, scotch eggs, pork pies, quiches, deli pots, parfait, desserts and more! Pop on down from 1030 onwards and don’t forget your shopping bags as lots of stalls to explore! Also Tommy will be making an appearance for those wishing to meet him finally!

We are also BACK hosting Pop Up Fridays throughout the Spring/Summer! Each event was a sellout last year so be sure to get in touch to book your places for an evening to remember with fabulous food and stunning views! We are hoping to add extra dates so keep your eyes peeled for latest updates!

First few days back at work - thank you so much to for the cuddles!

Some fabulous food leaving the kitchen all prepared by of course! The Venison Carpaccio has proven to be a huge hit for elevenses!

Thomas is 3 weeks old today and growing so fast! He’s a delight during the day and a terror at night but fingers crossed that fresh Yorkshire country air makes a difference!

The latest member of our By Harri & Ed family has arrived!

Baby Thomas Charles Allen was born on Friday 15th September at 0631 in the morning weighing in at just under 6lbs.

Ed Allen is back to work but wanted to say a HUGE thank you to Jen , Laskill North Yorkshire , Francesca Wood and Rosie Cattley for holding the fort and serving the guns brekkie whilst baby Tommy was being born! We cannot thank you enough you absolute legends!

We are back home and baby T has already been on a trip to our local and Tesco!

Thank you to all the staff at Scarborough Hospital from consultants, midwives, registrars and kitchen team who looked after me so well - we will never forget the truly wonderful service and kindness which was displayed during our time there.

Happy Anniversary ! What better way to celebrate than starting the shoot season up on the Grouse Moor!

Got home in good time to get the champers opened. Can’t believe it was 2 years ago when we celebrated our big day and over 12 years since we first met at a backpacker bar in Sydney - how time flies!

Roll on all the future adventures…one month to go before the new arrival!

A day at the races was long overdue for team ! Although is definitely a better chef than he is gambler so he’s back in the kitchen today! We had a fabulous day made even better by seeing …making most of our final few days before shoot season starts for us and final weeks before 3 becomes 4!

The results are in and our FINAL Pop Up Yorkshire Lavender will be….Woodfired Pizzas!

Back by popular demand the decision has been made to do pizzas for our final pop up of the season which will take place on Friday 11th August from 6pm-8pm.

Tickets are £17.50 each for adults and half price for kids. This will include UNLIMITED pizzas and a selection of freshly made salads all made by of course. There will also be a bar available to order drinks on the evening and some delicious homemade puds too which can be purchased as an optional extra.

Our monthly pop ups have proven to be hugely popular with each event selling out so we would recommend booking early to guarantee your place. DM or email us at [email protected] to book your spot!

We had a fab time away in Menorca (last hollibobs until little one arrives)! Thank you too to Bumpkins for yesterday and allowing us to meet the little one in 4D! Would highly recommend to all mums to be to book a visit!
