GLAD RAGS SHOP IS NOW CLOSED! I would like to thank all my customers over the past 13 years for their support. It has been great fun but hard work! Now it is now onto a new era! I will be storing my lovely hire costumes and continue hiring them out. No more shop or selling accessories.

SALE OF EX-HIRE COSTUMES CONTINUES! Also we are sorting out our sewing room. Fabric by the metre and remnants, lace, ribbon and other haberdashery all going at bargain prices. We are open until Saturday 5th October.

THE SALE GOES ON! Thank you to all our lovely customers (old and new) who visited us over the weekend. We sold a lot but the rails are only slightly less full. The sale of costume and half price accessories continues with our normal opening times. The shop will be finally closing on Saturday October 5th.

GETTING READY FOR OUR SALE AT THE END OF THE MONTH! We will have lots of costumes for sale as well as all our accessories, wigs, masks, face paints etc at half price!
(We are still open as usual except for next Wednesday when we will be at the Gillingham and Shaftesbury Show)

Come and join us for our relocation sale/party at the end of August! Glad Rags shop will be closing in October so there are lots of ex-hire costumes for sale and all accessories will be half-price! However we are not disappearing completely as Jan will be keeping some of the costumes in storage and hiring them out to amateur dramatic groups and individually in the local area. Unfortunately it is no longer viable to keep the shop.
