An eventful couple of day's!, when your truck breaks down half way through a 2 day job, but with the help of the boy's running around in their car's we got the job done, a 16th birthday party tomorrow will go ahead, and thanks to Arrow auto services , Maldon for having the truck fixed so quickly for pick up friday afternoon.

If you are starting college this September and have a couple of day's free in the week, if you want to earn some money to help while studying over the next couple of years we are looking for someone to do some part time manual work with us. Idealy living beetween Mayland and South woodham ferrers, we are then able to pick up and drop off.

Today saw over 70 players take part in our annual competition held in honour of our Club President, John Humphreys. The format is a Texas Scramble with players having to putt with one hand on the 18th green and there is also a prize for nearest the bridge on the 7th.
Congratulations to todays winners Simon Brierley, Ken Light, Anj Girling and Natalie Denton.

We are excited to inform that if anyone is intending to be watching the final day of the open in the clubhouse late afternoon Sunday 23rd July. You will be able to pre order a Mixed Antipasti, Charcouterie Platter which will be available to collect 3pm after we have finished catering Bar Snacks for the Bygones Trophy.

This will consist of a selection of Cheese, Pate, Cured Meats and other sundries.

For anyone who attended our centenary wine tasting event will know it was a winner.

We will have two size platters available.

Platter for 2 people- £15
Platter for 4 people- £25

Available from 3pm onwards Sunday 23rd July. Strictly last chance to pre order one of these will be 12 noon on Saturday 22nd.
