That time when I had to show up to my nemesis venue in Spain (always rained torrentially when I had a ceremony there) sporting the one and only umbrella we owned in our house. 🌂☔️☂️
In my defence, we lived in Spain.🌞
It didn't rain often, but a Lightening McQueen umbrella was not how I wanted to show up to a wedding ceremony.🤷‍♀️
I think I styled it out well to be fair. 😊

Fast forward to 2nd pic.
Year: 2026.
Location: UK.
One would think that after living back in the UK for 3 years, I would actually possess an umbrella as part of my wedding celebrant kit.☂️☔️🌂
No! Don't be daft! That would be far too organised. Today, I almost left home with a Stitch umbrella.🙄

Luckily my other half had a slightly more normal black umbrella in his van (bizarrely and very unusually for him, not entirely convinced it wasn't mine to start with) 🫣🤔

Anyhoo, rain held off for amazing ceremony with A & T and I am now shopping for an umbrella online. 🩷🩷🩷

Anybody that knows me knows that I am a BIG fan of cake.🎂

I am still getting over the fabulousness that were the cakes at Tasha and Matt's amazing wedding. Not only did they have the most amazing array of colourful, flavoursome cakes. They were ALL and I mean ALL created by the bride herself. (Baking skills I could only dream of).

And to top it all off, after an awesome ceremony I was gifted a little bag filled with delicious and scrummy cakey delights, just for me, as a thank you to take home and (begrudgingly) share with the locusts (kids and Dave) who reside in my house.

I really do have the best couples.♥️🩷🍰🧁

Yes! We did it! We SURVIVED the epic 995 Mondays of January 😭☕
(It felt like every day was a Monday tbh)
Good riddance!

The endless Monday marathon seriously tried to break us:
new year's resolutions ghosted us faster than ever,
the heating bill laughed in our faces,
and motivation? Quite simply nowhere to be found.
It was cold, it was rainy and it was, quite frankly, bloody miserable.

But look at us - still standing, still caffeinated, still here. We made it! 👏

Hello, February 💘 - the official Month of Love. Remember though:
Real love isn't just the February 14th fireworks.
It's the kind tough enough to survive the 995 Mondays of January together huddled under a duvet when it gets dark at 330pm!

It's laughing when you have to de-ice your car for the third time this week,
stealing the warm side of the bed,
and knowing 'for better or worse' includes whose turn it is to deal with the overflowing laundry basket and the dishwasher!

Love is showing up - messy hair, cold feet, questionable life choices and everything.
And that's worth celebrating every single day, not just when the calendar tells us to buy ridiculously overpriced roses.🌹🥀

So here's to February and to real love.
The stuff that outlasts January and laughs through the chaos! ❤️

Slightly obsessed with this incredible LEGO table plan from Helen & Cam's wedding at the stunning Stretton Manor Barn! 🧱💒

Instead of a standard seating chart, they created customized LEGO minifigures – each one representing a guest with their own little name tag. And that grand piano up front? Pure genius! 🎹

Such a creative and fun wedding detail –👰🤵❤️
