In the creative industries, whether you are new to them or have been involved in The Arts as a seasoned professional, one regularly has to take knock-backs. For actors or models this is even more common as there is so much competition and those people must have very hard protective shells in order to survive. As a professional unit, even we who have been involved in the industry for over 15 years could pitch for a job, putting in time and effort to get it right and may never hear back. It's a tough industry.
Recently we were in conversation with a Tunbridge Wells individual who asked whether she could syle our next event for us. As we have years of unique design and styling experience behind us we politely declined this offer with these words:
"Thank you for your response and interest but we won't be taking this further. All the best".
In our opinion and that of our legal representative, this was a polite and non-threatening sentence but sadly it was taken badly by the stylist and she has taken to Facebook, along with several of of personal friends who have had no dealings with our business, and has slandered our name publicly.
Those people are
Susannah Ford-Chrush
Lorena Romano
Ghiles Rahim
Rina Rozafa
Maria Lopez
Francesca Aliu
Gorbakta Christina
Tony Scott
We hope that these people rescind their comments before we take this matter further.
