From Wednesday 1st September, Bridget's Flowers have moved to a new base in King's Lynn and work only on wedding and event floristry.

Thank you very much for all of the kind messages, this has been a bitter sweet decision but I feel in order to grow my little family, I must compromise somewhere and woking X6 days each week seems like a great place to start.

The sunny sunflowers season is almost over 🌻

These gorgeous flowers always steal the show in my garden come late July to the end of October. They're locally sourced during the late Summer/early Autumn months and available in a wide range of varieties.

A favourite part of my job would have to be leasing with my clients and understanding the theme set out for their special day.

C&M knew exactly what they wanted and were so much fun to work with. Here is a gorgeous photo of the loved up couple showcasing her bespoke bridal bouquet with a handful of gorgeous trailing silk ribbons from Little Acorn Silks.

I am SO excited for this week. Our gorgeous prints/images have arrived thanks to Snappy Snaps. They are now all in their picture frames and ready for Richard (our lovely handy-man) to hang them on the walls for us on Wednesday.

I thought I would share a few gorgeous images of what we have had printed. This bouquet was simply gorgeous. I LOVE neutral colour themes, the images and flowers remain timeless and elegant whilst the bridesmaids dresses, venue decor and smaller details do all of the talking/ set off the theme.

This Saturday I have been invited to Norfolk Woods Retreat & Spa to host a hen-party for Sian and her team of bridesmaids, friends etc.

Please feel free to get in touch regarding prices for hosting hen-parties. We are planning to make head-garlands in all different sizes, colours and flowers.

We are happy to host these events here at our gorgeous little shop in King's Lynn or head out on the road and set up at other venues/hotels etc.

A beautiful example of how garden-type flowers, loosely gathered can look so effective. A huge thank you to Rebekah Robert Photography for capturing these wonderful photographs. Both Rebekah and Robert are such lovely people and their relaxed, timeless style of work compliments greatly the type of floristry achieved here.

To name just a short few of the chosen flowers used in this design please see below.

Garden Spray Roses, Sweet Peas, Cosmos, Peonies, Gypsophila, Olive Leaf & Eucalyptus Foliages.

The majority of these flowers/foliages were locally sourced and gathered. This design was created in a hand tied style allowing the flowers to naturally hang looser in places to create that tear drop/ V shaped design.

“How do I know which bridal bouquet/ style is right for me?”

This is a question I get asked often. People tend to have their colour theme set but how do they know which bridal bouquet 💐 to opt for?

Your dress is always the start point I usually say if there are lots of details in the dress and around the waist would you be better off to opt for something smaller and more simple and let the dress do the wow 🤩 say a hand tied posy style bouquet.

Same applies for the opposite if your dress is very simple and timeless/ boho (which I love) I would suggest to opt for a slightly larger more spontaneous and usual bouquet to again give you that wow effect.

Please bare in mind size doesn’t always matter. I love the wide and thinner bouquets which group flowers together etc. I also love the larger very natural and wild bouquet with trailing ribbons and lots of foliage’s and filler type flowers, you’ve also got those gorgeous tear drop style bouquet that trail down towards the front in a V type shape. There are so many options RE bouquets for you lovely brides.
