✨ I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again…
Big, statement florals > lots of little details 💫

When you’re planning your wedding flowers and thinking about your budget, it’s always worth investing in a larger piece that either frames you during the ceremony (and can be repurposed for the whole day if you’re using the same space!) or makes a big impact welcoming your guests to the ceremony or wedding breakfast.

Personally, I love things that can be moved around and reused so you get more for your money. One of my favorite pieces to create is an arbour or broken arch—it’s such a unique backdrop that draws the attention to whoever’s in front of it, and guests love taking photos surrounded by flowers! Milk Churns are also a fabulous addition which can create some really nice instant impact down your aisle✌🏻

Of course, little details are great to sprinkle throughout your venue, but they can easily get lost in the busy energy of a wedding. Focusing on something big and bold that everyone will see all day will leave your guests saying “WOW!”

🥂🥳🎉

It’s no secret that I’ve been off on Holibobs this last week, living my best life and having the most adventurous time… ❄️ 🇳🇴 🏔️
I didn’t think our trip in Norway could be topped until I found out I WON BEST REGIONAL NEWCOMER FOR WALES IN THE WEDDING INDUSTRY AWARDS 😭😭😭

I genuinely haven’t been able to stop smiling since the beautiful & kindly sent me the messages from the awards ceremony to let me know I won. 🙌🏻 🥳

What an absolutely monumental way to end my first full year in business. I started and ended last year with 4 weddings under my belt & I’ll be finishing this year on 33 weddings completed and next summer fully booked. 🥂

I’m so eternally grateful to every couple that trusted me to bring their visions to life this year, even more so to the ones who took the time to vote for me in the first place to get me to TWIA Awards & the regional final. There aren’t enough words to convey how full it makes my heart that so many of you took time out of your married lives to cheer me on and make other people think I was worthy enough to be a nominee, let alone a winner. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I quite literally couldn’t have done it without your trust & support. 💛

I couldn’t make the Regional finals for obvious reasons (sorry for stealing your 30th birthday thunder!) but I will be turning up in full glam and delivering all the good vibes to the LONDON NATIONALS in January 🇬🇧💂

Huge congratulations to all the other winners for Wales & the highly recommended. You guys are all amazing and I’m in awe of you all! 🙌🏻 🎉

And thank you to my biggest cheerleader, my Husband who had every faith I wouldn’t come away empty handed & hand bunting and party poppers ready for me when we got back to our hotel room after seeing the Northern Lights. You put up with a lot of my mess, my stress and my lack of time. But I guess it does enable us to have somewhat lavish holidays… even so. Thank you for everything, my love. For encouraging me to take the leap into becoming my own boss, you knew I could do it even when I didn’t think I could. 💛

🌻🎉🥂 I am floored! 🥂 🎉 🌻

I am SO thrilled to say I am through to the regional finals for for the Wales Floristry category as well as Newcomer! 🍀

I cannot thank my couples enough, truly from the bottom of my heart I’m so grateful to each and every one of you that took the time to vote for me. Thank you, thank you, thank you!🤩

Out of the 24 eligible voters, a whopping 22 made time to put me forward. That in itself is a huge win and regardless as to the outcome of the finals, my heart is so full. But it would be an exceptional way to end my first full year! 💕

However, I should probably take some time to apologise to my Husband 😅 because now we need to rearrange our trip to Norway so we can go to the finals…! 🤭

🌷🌻I am so beyond thrilled to have been nominated for The Wedding Industry Awards 2025! 🌺🌟

I know I sound like a broken record but I genuinely feel so privelidged and lucky to be able to do what I do for a living. Working with nature, colour and wonderful couples on the daily, it’s enriching! 18 months into my venture to becoming my own boss, I never could have dreamed I’d be here! 🌸

Leaving behind my job of 8 years in May just gone was daunting. Balancing Mum life with work life has been an enormous challenge, one where I fight with myself daily! But showing my daughter that you can have a life that is so rich and full by taking opportunites and believing in yourself...well, it makes it all worth it. The world could do with a few more strong, independent ladies 💪🏻

To all my couples that have enabled me to take the leap and go solo, I can’t thank you enough. 💕

Flowering up the beautiful this morning for E&M and what a delight it was! Today’s wedding was one of those ones that I’ll remember forever, the amount of thought and all the personal touches they’ve both put into making their day special… it really was something special to be involved with!

I’m gearing up for a busy few weeks worth of exciting weddings coming up which I cannot wait to photograph and show you all 🥰 Starting this weekend with a bang for R&P, the flowers are arriving tomorrow and I’m so excited!

Anyone got any good coffee brands that will really give me the kick I need? 😂

Throwback to L&B’s gorgeous registry arrangement from this spring. I always recommend a registry arrangement to my couples as it has the ability to be used for your top table flowers too!

Something I get asked at every wedding fair or open day is “So what happens to all these flowers when you’re done today?”

Well, let me show you!

Sometimes I like to continue their use and create some art out of them, making collages, pressing them or drying them for personal use.

Other times, you might have already seen, I like to tie a few bunches together and hide them around towns and villages for people to find on their travels. Hopefully making someone’s day or kitchen a bit brighter!

The floristry world is full of creations that only last a few hours out of a day. They’re grown for a purpose and when that day comes and they’ve done their job they often end up in landfill. I try to get a little bit of extra use out of everything just to ensure no opportunity has been wasted!
