Jazz Zone

Jazz Zone Jazz Zone is an exciting non-residential music course for all aspiring jazz musicians aged 19 and under.

It takes place in South West London and is run by a team which includes some of the UK's most experienced professional musicians. Since its inception in 2003, Jazz Zone has established itself as one of London’s most exciting music courses for aspiring young musicians. Jazz Zone is a supportive and stimulating learning environment, and is directed by a team which includes some of the UK’s most expe

rienced professional musicians and educators. Jazz Zone nurtures and develops both ensemble and improvising skills through rehearsing and performing a range of jazz music, including swing, bop, soul, funk and latin styles. Students gain experience of a variety of ensemble settings: studio band, big band and small jazz combo. Plus, everyone gets a taste of Brazilian percussion in the now legendary ‘Jazz Zone Bateria.’

Finished off the Shrewsbury House week with a fantastic concert last night. The standard of playing these last two weeks has been amazing. All the staff have had a great time. See you all soon.

Had a fantastic week at St.Paul's school. Last nights gig was amazing. Really proud of all the kids. They put on a great show. Couple of days to recharge the batteries then it's time to do it all again at Shrewsbury House!
