💥 Open Rehearsal - Sunday 17th March, 7pm! 💥
If you’re looking for a local North East band for your Wedding, party or special event, come along to our free open rehearsal at Meldrum House and hear what we do!
We shall be playing a mixture of both covers and ceilidh, you’ll have the opportunity to meet the band and ask any questions you may have, and you’ll get a lovely complimentary glass of bubbles too.
To top it all off, Meldrum House shall be serving dinner throughout the hotel that evening for guests that want to experience the gorgeous hotel before heading to the Ballroom for 7pm!

❓❔ Folk often ask us, ‘how long does it take for you to get set up?’ The answer is we always need ideally 70 minutes. There’s a good bit of work that goes into getting the stage ready including setting up the sound system, lighting, individual instruments (including Mathew’s many guitars.. 😁), stands, banners, getting the levels right for the venue - the list goes on! ❔❓

✨Throwback to the most perfect wedding at Ballogie House!✨
When chatting with someone about how a dance would work at Ballogie House, it brought back such lovely memories of when we played there back in October for the gorgeous Mr and Mrs Morrison. 🧡
Providing day time music for the ceremony and drinks reception with Laura on the fiddle and Irene on the clarsach, then a full band lineup for covers and ceilidh in the evening, it was so lovely to be part of the whole day! The Orangery was an absolutely beautiful space and the acoustics worked perfectly - we can thoroughly recommend it!

It was our absolute pleasure to entertain this lovely bunch of folk last night down at DoubleTree by Hilton in Queensferry. With a selection of ceilidh with some covers thrown in, the night simply flew by!

We had a really lovely time providing music for the ceremony and drinks reception at Laura and William’s gorgeous wedding this weekend at Raemoir House.
As well as providing evening entertainment, we also source local musicians to match what our clients would like for their ceremony and drinks reception and Laura and William went for a clarsach and fiddle combination which was beautiful!
☀️ With the weather on our side, it was THE perfect day - the photos by Eni Groner are going to absolutely stunning! 🤍

💥 Lonach Games Ceilidh! 💥
What. A. Fantastic. Night!!! This was our first time playing for this event and had been told to expect an amazing party and an amazing party is exactly what it was! The dancefloor was full, the dance moves were awesome for both ceilidh and covers and we all had a great time playing for you all.

✨ Mr and Mrs Hashimov ✨ We had THE loveliest time this weekend providing a whole day of music for this gorgeous wedding at Barra Castle. Kirsten and Rustam went for a more Scottish traditional feel for their daytime music with piper, Rasmus Feld, starting the day off by playing as guests were arriving with the stunning back drop of Bennachie behind him. Music for the ceremony and drinks reception was led by Laura Harrington and Irene Watt, on the fiddle and clarsach, with a mix of lovely Scottish traditional and contemporary tunes and songs. Fast forward to the evening and it was the full Hooley band to keep the floor full and get those feet dancing to a combo of covers and ceilidh!
