I have been looking forward to sharing this wedding! Kat and Spud's wedding day was amazing. They laughed so much you can really see they are each others best friend.
Last year was my first year filming at Backhouse Rossie . Such a beautiful venue. The art that has gone into the design of this venue, from the gardens to the building itself is spectacular.

With the showcase at Pratis Barns fast approaching I would love to share another beautiful wedding. Cheryl and Liam were married at Pratis in August 2021. As you will see from the film their children stole the spotlight! but they wouldn't have had it any other way!
Victoria Photography had the amazing idea of capturing the family walking in the fields after dinner as the sun went down and it really paid off as we all had so much fun!

Where do I start to describe this wedding! it was truly beautiful in so many ways and it was an honour to capture it. Margarida and Bethany had family and friends from all over the world to witness their marriage at Pratis Barns and it was the perfect setting.
The day was filled with emotion and lots of laughter from the morning preparations which took place in Pratis house to the absolute party on the dance floor that evening. Really you just need to watch the film! and you will know what I mean.
I worked alongside the crazy photography ninja and my friend Victoria Photography which is always so much fun.

I’ve been filming weddings for over 8 years – I can’t quite believe it’s been that long. But as they say, “time flies when you’re having fun!”
I love everything about a wedding day, but my favourite part is capturing the morning preparations and emotions that build up to the ceremony. It’s really exciting and that’s what I love to portray in your film. I’ve been known to tear up on more than one occasion! I’ve filmed a lot of weddings but each one has its own powerful moments.

When I’m not working, you will find me at home in bonnie Fife, most likely cuddled up on the couch with my dog, Romeo, and my fiancé Connor watching the latest Netflix series. I also love to collect house plants – Connor does not share this passion and would very much like me to stop!

I know the amount of time and detail that goes into your day. It will be one of the happiest days of your life – and also one of the fastest. This is why it is so important to invest in capturing the memories so you can relive that wedding excitement again and again.

New year new name!

So many of you would have already seen that I have change my business name to Ashleigh June Films.

My business have evolved so much in the last two years that I felt I needed to mark this growth with a new name and image that reflects my new business values.

I have been very quiet on social media as I’ve been so busy filming and editing but I’m going to be sharing a lot more on here as I know you all love too watch my couples stories.

I just want to say a massive thank you to all my couples, friends and family who continue to support my business.

These can be so magical! if you cannot choose who to have as your witnesses I suggest choosing your videographer and photographer. This way you can share the experience later with family and friends.

*Today’s Scottish Government announcement *

Weddings throughout January can still go ahead with the maximum of 5 people. This will be reviewed at the end of the month.

It really does break my heart. It’s another big hit for couples and suppliers.
I hope all my brides and grooms to be and friends in the Industry are remaining positive.

Well 2020 was an extremely tough year for everyone in the events and wedding industry. I may have not achieved everything I wanted to however it has made me very grateful for what I already have.

I want to thank all my brides and grooms for their continued support and I can’t wait to film your weddings in 2021 and 2022. It’s been hard postponing but your day will be even sweeter when it comes.

For those still interested in having their wedding films digitally delivered its the LAST 5 DAYS to do so.

This means you will be able to stream, download and share your films. Its perfect incase you scratch or loose your disc (lets face it discs won't be around much longer) its also just good sense to have a back up.

Have you downloaded your wedding films?

Calling all past clients to download your films. You pay for this as part of your package so make full use of it. Download it onto your phone, Ipad, computer and Usbs and then make backups! you can download as many times as you like.

Next up on my top Favourite Moments is from April and Chris's wedding at Pratis Barns Now there are many moments I can share from this dream day but I have chosen the Arrival of the bride as it really was just perfect! Chris looks so nervous but April was laughing coming down the aisle.
I got to work beside Stephen McCluskey his work is stunning and he will go that extra mile to get they perfect shots.
