Hello 2025. Sending love and light to all. ✨
I’m currently on a much anticipated trip to Asia with “the boy I have my life with” … still here answering any enquiries. Looking forward to starting the working year proper come March. My diary for 2025 has space, ready to be filled with your love stories, so please do get in touch.

Looking forward to connecting with my lovely friends / colleagues (need a better word) more in the year ahead and with the couples that have chosen me as their celebrant.

Love Jenny x

From G+R’s ceremony back in July. 🧡 How wonderful to gather outside to celebrate the bond between this loving couple and family. Our ceremony included a ring warming ritual- with their wedding rings forever imbued with the love and well wishes of their close family and friends. Thanks for having me G+R- it was magical being part of your wedding day.

Thanks to for these beautiful images.

Did you know as your celebrant I can help find and suggest readings for your ceremony? It’s becoming one of my favourite parts of co creating ceremony with the lovely couples I work with. Finally putting my Scottish Literature degree from the 2000s to use…

Do you have a favourite reading? The following poem by from a summer ceremony earlier this year has really stayed with me.

They say that sometimes
love starts with a spark.

And that might be true,
but if I were to wish you a love,
I wouldn’t wish fire for you.

You see, fire is powerful.
It burns bright and then it’s gone.
It’s beautiful and warm,
but it doesn’t last long.

So instead of wishing you a love that burns,
I wish you a love like a river twists and turns.
It changes and it flows,
It is powerful and free.
But it consistently finds its way back to the sea.

And so like the water,
I hope your love is ever growing, ever changing.
I hope your love is powerful and free,
And may you always find each other,

Like a river finds the sea.

Thanks to the awesome for the photo. ✨📸
And thanks to for styling / loan of the jacket. 😘

Last Saturday I had the absolute joy of conducting a marriage ceremony for two very special friends.
Being able to lead a ceremony where one of your most fundamental friends marries her love, was amazing and something I will never forget.

E +D your wedding was SUPERB and I am so over joyed to have been a part of it. Thank you for putting your trust in me.

Holding hands.
Love this detail of N+C holding their oathing stone. From a wonderful trip to Glencoe last year.

Today you see far down a mountainside,
out over islands to your far horizon.
Your sight is sharp, your goal clear, and tides
of love lap round all your desiring.

Words from Journey, by Christine De Luca.

A handfasting ritual. This ancient Celtic tradition is a beautiful way of adding symbolism to your ceremony. Here’s a wee action shot from E+G’s outdoor ceremony last Spring.

It is also where the traditional phrase ‘tying the knot’ originates from; the binding of the physical knot symbolises the binding of your two lives.

Stepping into 2024…

I am excited for the year ahead and can’t wait to plan and be part of some wonderful marriage ceremonies this year. It’s so wonderful to be part of the community.

Are you planning your marriage ceremony? If you’re looking for a celebrant, please get in touch. I am here to support you; with kindness, warmth, an open heart and honesty. I still have some dates available for 2024 and my diary for 2025 is open.
