Attention all participants:

It has come to our attention that there are some disputes and complaints regarding the rules set for this event. We want to reiterate that these rules were established from the outset of organising the event and are not subject to change based on individual preferences. We are also required to comply with England Boxing rules.

Please refrain from assuming that if you have a straight final, it will automatically be scheduled for Saturday.

With the large number of participants in this Boxcup, we cannot guarantee that all straight finals will take place on Saturday. Many will be scheduled for Friday.

This event spans two days, and we encourage everyone to come and enjoy the entire experience. While we understand that it's impossible to accommodate every preference, organising the event in this manner is the best way to ensure its smooth running with the high volume of entries.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Let's make this Boxcup a memorable and enjoyable experience for all involved.

Attention all boxers participating in the Valley Box Cup on March 28th-30th, 2024:

Please be reminded to have medical cards for all boxers, avoid red gum shields, plasters, cold sores, leg braces, or bandages. Ensure you have club permission to box, and all coaches and welfare personnel possess their complete credentials and lanyards for inspection. Additionally, bring any relevant correspondence for reference.

Thursday ALL Boxers register and weigh in 5pm-9pm at the venue
Friday Boxers in from 8am to weigh in if fighting that day, bouts start at 10am, aiming to finish around 6pm ish
Saturday Boxers in from 8am to weigh in if boxing that day, bouts start at 10am, aiming to finish with presentation around 5pm

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to clarify the importance of the weigh-in on Thursday for our upcoming event. This weigh-in serves two crucial purposes: firstly, it's a registration for your boxer to confirm their attendance at the event, and secondly, it ensures they meet their designated weight category. This allows time for any necessary adjustments before the bouts the following day.

With over 450 boxers participating, Thursday's weigh-in is absolutely essential to ensure smooth proceedings. While there are a few exceptions, these have been agreed upon through application to the box cup.

Additionally, on Thursday evening, you'll have the opportunity to book packed lunches, have club and profile photographs taken, and collect wristbands.

I hope this clears up any confusion. Looking forward to seeing you all there!

Please can I remind people that they chose the weight categories for their boxers not us. It is not possible at this late stage to start changing weight. There will be no moves at the event itself.

My wonderful tailer who hand makes all our AJBoxKing custom ring wear has just shown me her latest creation. This is something we have been talking about making for a while. A rock chick bad ass boxer vibe. It’s been made to fit around size 8 ladies. It’s duchess satin with embellishments and studs. This set is £300 and we will throw in a black BoxKing fight vest to match.

The waist band name can be changed if required to be personal to you. *small sue charge of £2.50 per letter

The set will be at the show unless someone buys it before hand!
