I love Taskmaster and they’ve now launched a club version for youth groups, schools and home educators. The kit costs £150, plus I’d have to figure in my time preparing and running sessions, room hire costs, printing out materials, buying equipment, etc. So, I reckon I’m going to need at least 10 children signed up at £60 for six sessions to come close to covering costs.

I haven’t got room hire/date/timesheet range sorted yet - it could be a summer holiday session or after school thing, possibly even a Saturday morning thing - so that will be swayed by any interest that I get across my usual areas.

Looking at my Slime sessions for the half term and there is limited availability left on all of them.

The Acorn, Accrington has just one place left at 3.30pm on the Tuesday 13th, so we’ve added an extra session at 4.40pm.

Geek Retreat Blackburn only has four places left on the Slime session at 2pm on the Thursday 15th (a few spaces still available on badge making and cup decorating though). Geek Retreat Blackburn

Slime is nearly booked up at Geek Retreat Blackburn but there’s still availability on the other two sessions. So here’s what you’d be doing.

Badge design and making - we’ll look at different badges, logos, your favourite bands or clubs and create up to five unique designs, then we’ll press them in a little machine that I have and attach a pin.

Cup decoration- cup included. We’ll look at anime or Pokémon characters or your own designs and trace them onto the cup, then using acrylics we’ll decorate them.

There's been a change of venue for the Kids drawing workshop.

My fault entirely - Ann said which dates weren't available and I read it that they were the ones that were. Doh!

Anyway, the Sea Cadets building on Harvey St is happy to accommodate the session. So, nothing else has changed.

Sign your young one up before the end of January and you'll be sent an activity pack in advance.

On 28th December I'll be at Geek Retreat Blackburn with three crafting sessions for young people - Slime Making with Professor Slime (1pm), Creating a Dragon out of Clay (2.30pm) and Making a Lorcana or Pokemon themed Friendship Bracelet (4.30pm).

Each session is £6 per child per session. An adult must stay.

There are limited places on each session and they're booking fast so don't miss out.

Professor Slime is out and about during the Christmas break with a few sessions in Blackburn and Ramsbottom. A one hour session is £6 and an hour and a half session is £7.50.

In the one hour session you'll make two pots of slime to take away and try the super slime tests. In the longer session you'll make an extra pot of slime.

Limited numbers on each session and some are selling out quickly.

You don't need to buy tickets for adults, but an adult must stay for the session.

Well, what a week that has been.

400 pots of slime made and tested with the super slime tests

Only two children went home with it in their hair and one on their pants which I’m going to count as a win, lol.
