Just thought id share some information about a Wedding Fair Company.
Your Wedding Live (THE WEDDING MEDIA GROUP LTD) were hosting a large wedding fair at the Ricoh Arena in Coventry in October 2021. I paid for a large stand at the show, then with just a few weeks to go - they cancelled the show - blaming a possible 4th Covid wave but also suppliers not being able to man the stands and pay balances. These were the apparent reasons for the reason for the show cancellation.
I have been promised a refund of almost £3000 on multiple occasions, firstly they were waiting to be refunded from contractors then waiting for a loan to clear before refunds can be made. This has taken months to sort, i gave them multiple opportunities to make the refund but had to take them to court. I have now won my judgment.
There are multiple other people that are owed money and have not been able to get a resolution. People who had purchased tickets for the show were also struggling to get refunds too.
They have told suppliers that the Telford Show in February has also been cancelled but they are still selling tickets for the show and the venue are not aware of the cancellation either.
I just wanted everyone to be aware of how bad Your Wedding Live are to deal with.
They currently advertising 3 shows - Midlands, Manchester and London.
Do not book stands, do not book tickets.
