It's going to be a busy few hours setting up for the Village Day 🌞

⏰ We'll be open from 11:00am - 4pm today so come on down, don't forget to swing by the raffle tent too!🎟️

There will be lots of stalls to browse offering everything from local made products, promoting local businesses and good causes!

We also have Arena acts performing, a Fun Zone for the kids, a popular dog show and great food & drink!

🚙 EVENT PARKING 🚙

If you live in the village then we strongly recommend that you walk to our event. If you have friends or family also attending suggest they park at your home too.

Should you need to drive we have the following car park to use (capacity will depend on how dry the ground is)

Public Car Parking opens at 10am

North Baddesley Recreation Ground car park by the Pavilion is for blue badge holders only and has a capacity of 19 cars. Overflow is in the field opposite.

The field opposite the Pavilion has a capacity for around 300 cars.

Please be respectful of the surrounding residential area. Don’t block drives, garages or park on grass verges. Please make sure you leave adequate space for emergency vehicles to be able to access roads.

🚫Absolutely no parking on Nutburn Road! Last year the parking was very bad, caused long delays and restricted access for emergency services. 🚫

🫵 WE NEED YOU 🫵

Final preparations are underway for the Village Day but now is the time to reach out to the community for help ensuring the day runs smoothly.

This year, rather than asking for help all day long (appreciated if you can), we have created specific roles and times ranging from just one hour to stay as long as you want.

We need:

🚕 Car Park Champions - To help guide the public into parking spots so can get the maximum number of cars in the field.

♻️ Litter Warriors - Equipment will be provided and you will simply be walking the site picking up litter keeping the place as tidy as possible.

💙 Donation Gathers - This year we will have donation buckets and the gathers will simply be walking around collecting loose change for good causes.

🎟 Raffle Masters - Posted at the Raffle stall you will be assisting in the sale and admin of the raffle tickets.

Again, we are only expecting 1hr stints or your can stay longer, every hand will help! We will even throw in a drink and biscuits too!
