🔬👃SCENT & SCIENCE WORKSHOP
14th MAY

This is predominantly a practical day of scentwork/detection but with neuroscience theory woven in, so that people get to understand the science behind what their dogs are doing.

At the beginning of the day Kathy will give a talk on the neuroscience of olfaction (sniffing) & emotion in the dogs brain whilst doing scentwork. You will then be taught by Elliot throughout the day with Kathy giving observations on the behaviours and emotions of your dogs and you both as a team. At the end of the session you will have a personal debrief with both Kathy and Elliot to see if we can give you any tips or tricks to help with handling your dog.

This is a unique experience that always gets fantastic feedback from clients.

Her reactivity to dogs is getting there but being a chocolate lab she’s a lot of energy!😀

Sometimes you just got to work with the energy rather than against it. She’s learning a new pattern game! This will help with desensitisation and counter conditioning while keep that lovely personality.
