🤍 Heirloom Veil 🤍

Katie’s veil was so special as we incorporated beads from her Mum’s veil. It was moth-eaten and stained, so we carefully unpicked all the beads and replicated the original design in a longer length.

I love the delicacy of the pencil edge with evenly spaced pearls.

"The power of social media led me to Sophie and I am SO glad it did! I was struggling to find the finishing touches to a custom dress and was desperately searching for a specific veil. That's when I found Sophie through an instagram hashtag - I still really can't believe it!

Planning a wedding during COVID has been far from easy, but she made the process for my bespoke veil so smooth. Not to mention, we were doing this thousands of miles apart (I'm in the US) and each time we exchanged messages, she settled my nerves.

My veil turned out exactly how I pictured it and with plenty of time to spare. I cannot wait to see the whole look come together.

Alexandra’s veil is a testament to patience!

Each dot is a cluster of individually cut petals, placed together and separately stitched.

We couldn’t find the exact tulle Alex wanted, so we made it for her. Attention to detail will always be our top priority and we’re over the moon with how happy she was with her veil!

Working with your spouse

One year on

The first thing most people say when we tell them we work together is ‘I could never work with my partner!’ In truth, it’s been the best decision, and a year in it feels like we’ve found our rhythm. It makes the journey with our lovely brides even more special.

But it has also taken hard work to maintain our work life balance. The ‘curse’ of doing what you love is that often you don’t want to put it down!

I now can’t really imagine not working together - it feels almost mad that I ran the company on my own for 6 years. Now a little team of three, I’ve fallen even more in love with the bespoke process - every aspect of the veil is truly as unique as the bride who wears it.
