Having a great wedding planner on board to either A: Plan your wedding from start to finish You will be able to then really enjoy and celebrate the whole engagement, you will not need to worry about booking anything as we will do it for you from start to finish. June is the Month for Pride - Many may know why pride is celebrated and some may think its just to have a party or have no idea on why it's celebrated by the LGBTQIA+ community and allies. Here are just a couple of facts on why people nationwide celebrate it: 𝕊𝕥𝕠𝕟𝕖𝕎𝕒𝕝𝕝 𝕌𝕡𝕣𝕚𝕤𝕚𝕟𝕘 28th June 1969 New York under cover police offices raided Stonewall Inn which was a popular gay bar and owned by the mafia, you ask why they raided it. Let me tell you! For centuries being part of the community was illegal along with serving alcohol to anyone who was gay, lesbian, transgrender, non binary, bi-sexual or queer. Stonewall Inn, an iconic bar, ignored the law and provided alcohol to everybody. In the early hours of the 28th June, undercover police entered the bar and started to arrest people including the workers, throwing them out on the streets and beating them up. One particular person the police had handcuffed who then lashed out and escaped from the police shouted to the crowd ‘why don't you do something’ ( its believed to have been Stormé DeLarverie but not 100% confirmed) this then sparked the riot as the gay community had just had enough. Brenda Howard, a bisexual activist, is known as the "Mother of Pride" for coordinating the first march. ℙℝ𝕀𝔻𝔼 𝔽𝕝𝕒𝕘 𝕞𝕖𝕒𝕟𝕚𝕟𝕘𝕤 Red is symbolic of life, orange is symbolic of spirit, yellow is sunshine, green is nature, blue represents harmony and purple is spirit.
