The festival has completely sold out but we do have the Brodstock 2024 Ticket Exchange area for those who have tickets but can no longer go.

💥 PLEASE be wary of ticket scammers though!

If someone wants money upfront or they tell you they can “email you the tickets”…. ITS A SCAM.

🎟️ CHANGES THIS YEAR
👉 Everyone 12 years and over; needs a pre-purchased ticket for entry.
👉 Under 18s will only be allowed entry if accompanied by an adult ticket holder (someone 18 or above).
👉 Under 12s will be given a free ticket on the entry gate.

ONE MONTH UNTIL TICKETS GO ON SALE
🚀 Launching 10:30am Saturday 9th March

The tenth anniversary Brodstock Music Festival takes place on Saturday 22nd June in Hipperholme and we’re busy lining up an Xtra special occasion.

It’s an absolute privilege to have so much support for our family-friendly event. Fingers-crossed, we’ll hopefully have another sell out on our hands, like the past seven festivals. That would certainly help us do our charities proud and give everyone another great day out.

🎟️ HOW TO BUY TICKETS
Tickets will go on sale from the Old Brodleians Rugby Club.
Please be aware that we do NOT sell tickets online so, if anyone’s offering you tickets, tread carefully! If they claim they can email you tickets - they are lying.

🎟️ TICKET PRICES
We’ve not put our ticket price up for four year’s - but a lot has changed during that time, and so much has gone up!

All our volunteer organisers are committed to making sure the whole festival continues to offer real value for money, whilst also raising a ton of cash for great causes. We’re having to work harder than ever to do this.

This year’s General Admission tickets will increase to £23 each and VIP tickets will be £35.

However, a new EARLY BIRD price ticket will be available for the duration of the ticket launch weekend.

🎟️ EARLY BIRD TICKETS
All General Admission tickets purchased on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th March will be available for £18 each.

🎟️ CHANGES FOR UNDER 18S
Tickets for Under 12s will remain FREE when the child enters with an accompanying adult (someone over 18).

New for this year will be the introduction of a wristband for 12 to 17 year olds.

When purchasing your tickets you’ll need to let us know which age categories you’re buying for (12 to 17, or 18 and above). Remember, 0 to 11 year olds are still free.

Also new this year; all Under 18s must be accompanied into the festival site with a ticket holding adult.

We’re fortunate to have so much musical talent in the local area and would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone that’s been in touch and offered to perform.

A violinist played for 45 minutes in the New York subway. A handful of people stopped, a couple clapped, and the violinist raised about $30 in tips.

No one knew this, but the violinist was Joshua Bell, one of the best musicians in the world. In that subway, Joshua played one of the most intricate pieces ever written with a violin worth 3.5 million dollars. And two days before he played in the subway, with again not many people appreciating his skills .

Joshua Bell sold out a Boston theatre, and the seats averaged about $100.

The experiment proved that the extraordinary in an ordinary environment does not shine and is so often overlooked and undervalued.

There are brilliantly talented people everywhere who aren’t receiving the recognition and reward they deserve. But once they arm themselves with value and confidence and remove themselves from an environment that isn’t serving them, they thrive and grow.

Your gut is telling you something. Listen to it if it’s telling you where you are isn’t enough!

Go where you are appreciated and valued.

⚠️ CHANGES TO THE TICKET LAUNCH ⚠️
Here’s everything you need to know

Tickets will now go on sale at NOON on Saturday 11th March ….not 10.30am as previously shared

🥶 Due to the freezing weather conditions overnight we have moved Saturday’s launch to a little later in the day to give time for temperatures to lift as forecasted

We know many were potentially traveling to the club early on Saturday morning but there is a Yellow weather warning for Ice in place overnight

HERE’S ALL YOUR TICKET INFO…..

🎙️ The Brodstock Music Festival takes place on Saturday 17th June 2023

🎙️ Tickets for will now go on sale at NOON on SATURDAY 11TH MARCH from the Old Brodleians here in Hipperholme

HOW TICKETS WILL BE SOLD
📍Tickets will ONLY be sold from one location (the rugby club)
📍We’ve never sold tickets online so be suspicious if you see them available via social media
☀️Our volunteers will be selling the tickets from a dedicated area inside the clubhouse
☀️Doors won’t open until 12 noon on Saturday and we are expecting queues
☀️Tickets will be on sale until 6pm OR until they’ve sold out

🎟️ There’s two types of tickets available
🎟️ General Admission tickets are £15 each
🎟️ VIP tickets are £30 each (they include access to the VIP Area - a covered bar with seating, quick bar access and posh toilets!)
🎟️ Tickets are required for anyone 12 years and above
🎟️ Those who are under 12 on the 17th June gain entry for free on the day when accompanied by a ticket holder (under 12s don’t need a ticket but will be given an entry wristband on festival day)

🎶 Tickets will be sold on a first come first serve basis
🎶 Where there’s a queue on Saturday; a maximum of 10 adult tickets will be sold per person
🎶 We prefer card payments but also accept cash

✅ The ticket sales point is very accessible to everyone. There’s no steps and entry is via double doors
✅ If you have health concerns or you’re worried about queuing/standing for a prolonged period we have an indoor seated waiting area you can make use of. On arrival simply make yourself known to one of our volunteer greeters and they will show you inside.
✅ There will be Blue Badge priority parking available on the day
✅ We set a maximum of 10 tickets to be purchased so friends and family can buy them on behalf of others if the cannot get there on the 11th March for any reason

🎵 ABOUT THE FESTIVAL 🎵
Brodstock is a family-friendly, one day festival taking place on the pitches of the Old Brodleians rugby club.

🎪 Gates open to ticket holders at 11.30am and outstanding local musicians entertain the crowds for more than 10 hours over two stages

🍔 Our popular Kids Zone and children’s activities run until 6pm and there’s street food and bars

🥇 Being not-for-profit and run solely by volunteers we’re proud to be one of Yorkshire’s biggest annual benefit concert in term of how much we raise. We’re also humbled to have picked up a number of awards along the way.

♥️ Our first festival began in 2014 and so far we’ve raised over £160,000 for good causes. That includes £100,000 for Overgate Hospice,£25,000 for Yorkshire Air Ambulance and £35,000 for other charities and local schools.

Not-for-profit grassroots sports club that’s passionate about community with over 100 volunteers behind the scenes staging our ninth music festival 👉 Old Brodleians RUFC

⭐️ OVERGATE HOSPICE
Based in Elland; providing palliative and end of life care to adults across Calderdale suffering from life-limiting illnesses 👉 Overgate Hospice

Each cause will be supporting the festival with volunteers, joining our Brodstock Crew, and will be joining us on the day 👏

A sizeable donation will be going direct to them from ticket sales 👍

THE BIG BRODSTOCK COMMUNITY RAFFLE
We also have our Community Raffle which will be raising funds for the four causes above, as well as:

A Big thanks to everyone involved in this event you are awesome 🤘

A massive THANK YOU to everyone who attended the Hangovers Reunion event recently at Arden Road Social Club in Halifax. The event was arranged by fundraising groups Sisters 4 Overgate & MuSic 4 MS. All proceeds raised on the night were split between two charities with Overgate Hospice receiving an amazing £1,540!!

SARAH JAY
Cutting her teeth as a solo vocalist on the club circuit almost 30 years ago, Sarah not only entertained the crowds but started to accrue accolades and awards that recognised her talents and unquestionable energy. Sarah’s solo career has spanned decades and counties and grown from strength to strength, garnering local, national, and international acclaim. Alongside her varied and seasoned solo career Sarah has also fronted a number of bands that have headlined events of tens of thousands of happy punters, including Vital Statistix, Missfire, Vital Signs and currently is the voice of the classic rock covers band Evolved, and the Cher tribute band Cher(ish) – despite her self-confessed love of carbs! Sarah’s powerful and versatile voice alongside her energy and feel-good song choices leave her audiences on a feel-good vibe, and her favourite (genuine) phrase is that you are only ever as good as your audience, highlighting her down-to-earth love of music, people, and life!

A WARM WELCOME TO EVERYONE JOINING US AT WOODHEAD PARK THIS SATURDAY

🚘 Our free CAR PARKS are open from 10.30am. You can leave your car overnight, at your own risk.

💙 Our stewards can direct you to Disabled/Blue Badge parking spaces that are nearest to the festival site entrance on request

🎶 The FESTIVAL ARENA opens at 11.30am and there’s no access beforehand

🖐 Arrive wearing your wristbands to speed up entry time

💼 Please be aware we’ll need to check ALL BAGS on entry to ensure no alcohol, glass or BBQs are brought it

🐶 No dogs, except assistance dogs, are allowed on site

🧒 Under 12s do not need a ticket but need to collect their free entry wristband at the entry gate

✈️ No unauthorised drones allowed

⛺️ Feel free to bring picnic blankets, folding chairs and if you’re bringing a gazebo; please leave the walls off. No guy ropes are allowed either.

Thanks for all those who attended Arden Road Social last Night for The Rhabstallion gig , The guys delivered an Awesome set of original hard rock, supported by young power trio Displaced.
Both bands were very well received, which created a special buzz in the room .
