An absolute fabulous time at RAF Cranwell’s Graduation Ball last night. Creative Occasions did an amazing job. The whole evening was a success. Everyone commented on the amazing displays and how well the whole event was run. I cannot fault the professionalism of this company and I highly recommend them for any formal function. 👍🏽

Well a wet Wednesday just turned into a well done Wednesday we have just received notification that we have won an award with The Innovation & Excellence Awards as Best Event Planning Company 2022. So chuffed. Seems we were nominated by a client who we worked with to produce a themed event for around 400 guests.

Well another busy week not posted for a while, we are currently working with a local RAF station on a summer ball amazing theme (can't say what as its a secret to everyone except the 2 people organising) but it is definitely unusual will be lots of black/orange.

Then we are working on 2 events 1 in August for approx 247 and 1 in September both themes are interesting the August is Greatest Showman/Circus we can really go to town on this, and the September event theme not 100% confirmed as yet but looks like will be based on things in history that happened this month.

Well the 2nd Wedding of this year took place yesterday Vicky looked amazing & David you scrub up well.
All family & friends had a great time hats off to Vicky's dad instead of a traditional speech he sang to his daughter ( it was lovely).
The kiddies enjoyed their playroom and the food was well presented and tasty.
Well no work tomorrow then back on Tuesday continuing plans for the next big event in May.

Well we are on the final weeks rundown for Vicky & David's Wedding on Saturday. A lovely couple car finalised - decor all ready to be done on Friday. Prosecco & glasses at the ready. We here at Creative Occasions wish them all the happiness in the world and not forgetting Jasper a lovely little boy who is going to make a great groomsman.

Well another lovely start to the week it's amazing how much more energy people have when its sunny. Have just finished off 100 sweetie bags all now personalised ready for our next 2022 wedding on Saturday 9th April.

What a lovely day the sun is shining all is good, I am spending today going over final arrangements for our next Wedding in early April. Balloons ordered, all decor finalised - dj has the play list. All is going well only 3 weeks to go. Good luck Victoria & David.

What a lovely day for the first Wedding of this years season - Sophie & Ollie what a lovely couple, the day may have been blustery and cold but nobody noticed. Sophie was a stunning bride and Ollie looked great in his suit. Family & friends had a great time. And I have to say a massive thankyou to Cake it or leave it who made the Wedding cake the bride & groom had a say in what they wanted and Mel did them proud. A traditional cake from the front and a little different on the reverse. Have a wonderful life together & I am proud to say I've also made two new friends.

Well it's been a busy 2 weeks have been finalising everything for our first Wedding of the year early February. Everything done taking delivery of handmade favours at the weekend.
We are also very proud to be working with a lovely couple from Lincoln who are getting married in April today we have booked the brides dream car a vintage Beauford ( beautiful car ).

Have a meeting on Sunday with again a lovely couple from Lincoln who's Wedding will be in November 2023.

Well the first week back at work for 2022 is nearly at an end, Here at Creative Occasions we have been putting finishing touches to our first Wedding of 2022 in early February. Place cards all completed - table play all done. Then yesterday I met with a lovely lady named Laura, and I am pleased to say she is our first confirmed Bride for 2023. We are looking forward to working with Laura & Ben to make sure they have the day they want and deserve.

Just wanted to share this photo here is the replica 1920's car which was used at our last event at Cranwell, great evening. More photo's to follow. Don't forget we can supply everything from table centre pieces to fireworks - food and fun fair rides.

Well another busy day but great fun just finished detailed room plans ready for the big event at the end of the week. With such a lot of items going in we need to be ready and run a tight ship. The venue is going to look amazing and the fireworks at 10pm will blow everyone away.

Good morning everyone hope you are all well. Today I am going to pass on a tip that we here at Creative Occasions use all the time, with Brides or for Corporate events.
Always make a must have and a wish list - then once you know what your budget is you can tick off the must have list, and if any funds are left over choose 1 or 2 items from your wish list. Everyone is happy and takes away a lot of stress.

Well we are just about to leave for a meeting re a large event in November, had a lot of fun this week putting a proposal together which includes a fairground ride - candy floss - several Victorian side show games , a classic rolls royce and 1920's singers and dancers. And alcoholic doughnuts what more could you ask for.

I am proud to say that we at Creative Occasions have been honoured to help in a small way with this years Yellowbelly Charity Ball, which is this Saturday 18th September.
I would like to THANK Jody - Sophie and all the other ladies who have given up their time to make this event GREAT.

Well another week of planning and talking to new clients - yesterday we confirmed hair for a lovely bride who is getting married in February 2022 after having to cancel a couple of times due to covid. The big day will be here before we know it everything is going well just the menu to finalise this will be done in September. Well what a great day I have been to a meeting with a possible new client, it was great to be walking through the bailgate area and feeling like it was normal again. People smiling and laughing. Fingers crossed things are retuning for normality for us all.

Good morning everyone I hope you are all well. Last week we were proud to work with the first graduation ball since Feb 2020. We turned 1 room into a disco themed area it looked great and they loved it. This week I am privileged to be helping with the up coming yellow belly ball. Let the good time roll as they say.
